Guest monyozt Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 you need the multiclock panel by genix9 (and sector)... find it in the pinned thread 'Windows 6.5 goodies....' Enjoy. Dont forget to disable Titanium before installing....and remove CClock too (not essential, but you will) :D maybe u can answer this http://www.modaco.com/content-page/287749/...0/#entry1029687

Guest johansson Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Hiya I have a strange issue... After installing a cab for korean localisation and SPBMS3, my touch screen won't work.......................................... Even after a soft reset. What can I do? (i really need korean localisation 'cause my major at university is korean :D)
Guest Michelle My Belle Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Wow, this is crazy... I'm not having any problems with vibration, apps closing, as far as music try using Nitrogen (IMHO I think it's the best music player out) and definitely not a resource hog. Keep up the good work Sector, as always your work is appreciated believe me. Agreed, I can find nothing wrong with this ROM. I have no problems and I don't bother restoring from backups - just in case they mess with any of the optimisations - you never know. I like the new menu/file spacing - really nice finger friendly stuff. Scrolling is very smooth too. Great job Sector - your work speaks for itself. :D
Guest engmisho Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 my english ist not better :D when you are on the clock go on SETTINGS (right softkey) and then REFRESH CHome. Thats all ;) hope that it helps Thanks, that was helpful, although I'd prefer to have a total solution to this problem, cause I still have to press (Refresh Chome) more than 2-3 times a day !! another thing I noticed in this rom, when I want to change the keyboard while writing sms, there is a lag for about 2-3 sec before the menu pop-up (I mean keyboards list). does anyone have the same issue ??

Guest dannych99 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 The in call recording can be started/stopped from a menu option on the lower right-hand side of the screen whilst in a call. Not sure where they get saved but you can play them back from the Notes application. saved folder is \My Documents\Notes
Guest ferrari85 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 (edited) As pointed out by Rob V in the iphone 3GS vs Omnia II thread, the sensitivity of our omnia's touch screen can be tremendously improved by changing the registry setting at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH. Changing the "downup" value to 150. There's a misconception of using a high value but this will only make the screen less responsive. The default in sector's rom is 750 and I've tried 150 ... honestly, the difference is WOW. Maybe sector can test it and make this change in his upcoming roms? :D Edited June 23, 2009 by ferrari85
Guest DominikZ Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 If your screen is not that sensitive you can exchange it. Obviously there are two different kinds of touch screens (there's a threat about that on Modaco too). I just got my phone back yesterday from service center and the difference is great. My screen now works very well. I can even use it with my fingers :D

Tried 150 in registry (I had 1000 from Fav Hacks). I can't say it's harder in any way, so maybe it IS more sensitive with a lower setting? More feedback would be necessary. I know many of us already have the new touch screens, included Sector, but more tweaking is always welcome isn't it?
Guest j_p_harrison Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Sector my man, can I jast say, thanks for the roms and mods. Great work, doing what most can't.
Guest rollmy Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 one issue on my side met with all these ROMs i've tried (up to 21806 i'm currently with) with ActiveSync. does not connect automatically when I plug in to my PC. Systematic behavior. workaround found and 100% working (after soft reset some time..) : i. open <USB connection mode> system app ii. select "USB mass storage" then close iii. reopen and select back "ActiveSync" anybody else experiencing the same issue ? (note : using also SPB MS3, maybe the cause of the problem)
Guest bobobird Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 (edited) ... honestly, the difference is WOW. I have done the same and WOW. But lets clarify the screen usage part - despite the fix it is still almost the same with finger (skin), but with finger (nail) it is excellent. With resistive screens - if you have very dry finger (skin) like me, scrolling is an absolute disaster. But for those with a dampish skin, it provides a certain amount of resistance on the screen which then is quite responsive. In my case the finger(nail) is the only option. (note : using also SPB MS3, maybe the cause of the problem) Yes, I've been experiencing this also - although I don't have SPB MS3 installed, so that's not likely to be the cause. I keep my ROM pretty clean after flashing - I just access a few apps previously installed (before flashing) in "my Storage". I too resort to opening USB connection mode and flick between to two settings (saving each time) which seems to 'kick-start' the old Omnia into action ;) . It's not a big problem (for me any way), more an annoyance :D For me, I see the same behaviour on XP and Vista.

Yeah I get this too - my workaround is similar to above, except i flip between the "advanced network functionality" tick box found under settings / connections / usb to pc
Guest sjhshaw Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Once again, outstanding job Sector I'm having trouble getting the Weather Radar to work.. I'm getting the errror: "Unable to download file. The server might be experiencing difficulties or URL may be invalid" Is there something that I need to setup to get it to work? Has anyone else had the problem?

Guest GodsGift Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Sector, Dude you gotta help me! On the last two ROM's I have had a nightmare with the zylon(?) battery driver. My battery consistently shows 20ish percent and then ticks up (slowly) to 70ish percent. Then when the screen goes off and back on (s2u2) it goes back down to 20ish percent. Was living with this but now in the latest ROM Media Player wont work... a film plays but the buttons and menu's have gone. dunno if its page pool or something. Help me guys. Been on Sectors ROMs since day one and dont want to leave. Cheers, GG
