Umm I hope some body can help me. Most times that I am on the phone, I press the phone on my face and hang up or push hold while Im talking to someone.

It is bloody annoying. Is there away to lock phone while Im on a call? :D

I have never had such a problem.

But you can use S2U2! It turns your display black when the connection is established!

Another way is to enable the autolock function (it's built in -> CHobit Smart Lock): goto Settings -> (I think you have to go to System) -> there should be a point called Lock or so -> there you can enable autolock wehen the connection is established!

You probably have this already on your phone.

In sector's roms: \settings\system\smartlock\

It has several options and has a nice screen when phone is locked.

Anyone comment on a new ROM release date ?

I am on the latest one Sector has released and all was fine from day 1...however I am a couple of days in and now and things are very odd.

Messaging seems to be sticking, freezing and not allowing me in - missing text messages completely.

I have removed the New Clock display and have litterley 2 panels, CHOME and CCLOCK

Not sure if to hard reset or if to revert back a few roms....

I'm having two problems;

I get this weird pattern as seen in the pic above only when I'm installing stuff. Now i'm experiencing this with this rom and also with Shokka's latest 6.5, BUT i'm not having this issue with ddrko's 6.5

The second one is far more annoying and I can't believe that I'm the only one experiencing this; the scrolling in...well everything, seems rather choppy, it's as if WM 6.5's scrolling is interfering with something else...or something.

The rest is fine..although DDRKO'S build seems much faster in use, don't know why really.

That pattern is quite normal in the wm environment. I've always had it since my first SVP 8 years ago! Does it really matter though as it's only when your are installing? For the other question, have you tried installing FtouchSL 2.10? It restores the original m$ scrolling over the Samsung type (which is crap incidentally)

anw im thinking to remove m2d clock if it is slowing down the system until we re-optimize more the code.

21820 is out, i will try to make a release soon but i have some things to do.

Anyone any good with fonts... I am having an issue where some programs will allow me to use a new font i copied to \Windows... but making the changes in all of my CPRs and in all of the Registry settings as well won't change anything.  Only some programs will allow me to use those new fonts.

Just noticed the last ROM a bit slow, seems to be gaining a bit of weight. Battery life for me is down to one day as well...

Also how can I delete .TTF files because I am not using any of them anymore and it appears that it won't let me delete any of them because they are in use but in fact aren't.  How can I remove those without hard resetting my device?  I am currently using Resco Explorer.

Just remove the mortscripts from the startup folder, reboot and the phone will be fast again. You will have to disable the new clock thou. Sector, anything else that can be deleted from the startup folder to help improving speed? lots of files there..

Hey guys. I'm new to the Omnia and I bought it used with a 6.5 ROM already on there that has serious troubles allowing programs to use WIFI.

Does WIFI work well with this ROM? Even through all the programs like MSN and omnia?

This is going to be the first ROM I'm installing myself.

Does it matter that my phone is a GSM Phone?

Info and any advice is appreciated. REALLY dont want to brick it. I love this phone so far. just friggin WIFI!

Does anyone seem to have a problem where they do not recieve SMS messages.

I am on T-Mobile in the UK

this problem is intermitten, and rebooting the phone does not force the messages through.

I am guessing if this was network related then the SMS would come through eventually, but they dont.

its as though they never get to the phone..

Any one help or inform me they are getting same problem really appreciate it.

Hey all, I just tried loading the new 21820 version, but when it's almost finished downloading it gives a checksum error and says download failed. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to get around this or is there a way to download it through the UMDL 2.3 downloader instead?

hey all, wondering if anyone has tried the latest rom? i've found sectors last 2 roms extremely slow.. unusable.. i didn't try the reg hack though so that may have improved it, however that said, shokka's latest rom was also very slow.. Khuancha's rom is blazin fast.. however its missing a particular streaming driver that i need..
