Anyone else having issues with ActiveSync with the latest and greatest from sector... I think it's W lite now.

nop. all is working fine for me bro. Even the buggy SRS wow HD seems to be workin ok now :D try clearing start up items on windows\startup

i faced the same prob b4.. n i thot it is due to the rom.. but then after i restarted my laptop.. walla.. no prob with the Activesync..!

sorry my english is not the best but i would like to try to tell my problem with sector rom.

The sector rom is the best rom of omnia. My opinion. Great job Sector!!!

But: My HTC Album Manager don't save the the Favorite Album Folder.

I select a special album an save this as "Favorite Album". Close HTC Album an reopen it.

HTC Album don't save it, its in another folder i think in a camera folder.

I looked in registry and the right path is saved. I don't know why the HTC Album don't save it?

Can you help?

hello sector, I have some serious problems. I am one vacation and my phone want start! This is what happens when I am startıng it; the omnia screen turns up, then the wın mobil 6.5, but after that nothings happens, when your name should come up under the wın 6.5 pro, ıts just black.

The problem occurred when I was making a panel on chome, after that i went to regedit and changed some of the value of the newly crated panel, I made a new page in the created panel, and add a actionvalue, a enablevalue and a textvalue

Is there any way to fix this??

I am in desperate need

i think you have to hard reset your omnia to get it working again, i for myself have had such a problem twice, i played around in the registry and after some entries the phone went all cracy with the display, only a hard reset could get it to work again for me!

but my backup files is home, and the are about 2 weeks old. Is there any way to connect it to pc, and back-up the fıles? and is there a way to fıx this wıthout a hard reset??

yes, i have the same problem, in all your previous roms when i tap on HTC album, all my camera pics will appear, but now i have to select the folder manually.

I have installed the v1 rom but when I go in contacts or other menus the scrolling sometimes is the old wm 6.1 . Does anyone else have this problem??

just hardreset your device. how? take off your batree then put it back. press and hold dial key and reject key at the same time turn on your omnia(still holding dial and reject key)

actually sector great job with the font, i really really like it, wahts it called?

I habe flashed the actually version and i wouldn't a new flash again. A lot of setting and programs are konfigured in this moment :-)

+1 Thanks sector! oh.. has the poweroff/startmenu problem been fixed for everyone else? it still happens once in a while but soft-reset gets it working until some point when it's back again

Yes you can, you won't want to though.

If you do not like the new 6.5 honeycomb style Start Menu, you can easily have it show the old 6.1 style.

Everything else you will like more, I think.

You need the WM65 OEM XIP and/or OEMDrivers to fix the mouse problem = wait for Samsung official release..

Notice that each (well almost all) newer rom (following the alphabet) is based on a higher (newer) Microsoft build release number. We are hoping that MS is improving little things with each new release build number they give out (although MS did screw up the finger mouse pointer option when they went to 6.5 and have not fixed it yet ;) ). And the cooks are catching little bugs as they go along as well.

Based on the above, we think the latest cooked rom release (noted by alphabet) is the best for now, until the next one comes out.

Not really rocket science here. :D Latest should be better.
