I have just received my phone from the service centre, but it has version Pda I900XXHJ3/XKHJ3 and Phone i900XXHI4 on it. Can I just upgrade to W1lite?

Hi mpx200,

XKHJ3 phone code means your phone is part is very old too. Phone part does not change very often (which is why cooks do not put it in their cooked roms), but you have missed a few. Latest phone part is DXID1. Download and flash latest rom first and then flash new phone part (see second post of this thread). Then you will be up to date.

If someone thinks he should do new phone part first and then new rom, please comment.

Nice job, but if I click on "start" the normal WinMo 6.1 menu opens up...?! Is there anyone else with this problem ?

You need to pick one of the 6.5 themes such as ron arad, rock and republic, etc...

I dont mean the todayscreen, I mean the little windowsicon in the top left corner :D If I click there, the normal WinMo 6.1 menu with programs and settings and so

on opens up ;)

Guys, i have a big problem my friend she upgraded her omnia to winmo 6.5 using this i900DXID1_SHKv7, and flashing wasent a problem, but when finish her touch screen cant be use. how. i tried soft reset and hard reboot. i managed to get around using the "my Mobiler" software. please help out. i need it done asap as she will need to go oversea soon. thanks alot!

May i say unless you're up to it, don't try flashing a mobile OS which hasn't yet officially been released on any phone. These ROMs are for the benefit of those who are game for trying something new, and possibly better, but not as yet guaranteed!!!!

Keep this in mind before flashing any rom, yet alone WM6.5. Note, WM6.5 RESEARCH THREAD!

Try flashing using the W1 rom from this thread and the DXID1 phone part from khuanchai's thread and see if it works.

Nice work sector! One little problem though. I cannot answer my calls with the headset button, when the device is locked with chobit smartlock. Is there a workaround for this?

Has anyone figured out how to fix the crappy frickin scrolling in outlook?  That tap and then scroll is ridiculous, I believe that it may be on MS side but I figured I'd ask if anyone has figured it out.

Having issues with Gmail (originally posted in qbus' thread by accident, sorry!), I'm using the DXID1 ROM from this thread. Gmail IMAP used to work fine, I now set it up with the WinMo 6.5 and it initially downloads all the messages fine, but after that I keep getting 'Error Synchronizing' every time I click Send/Receive.

Any ideas, cos this is driving me nuts!

Yeah, I'm on O2 in the UK, very strange! Anyways I'm out of the country tomorrow for a week, hopefully it will be working fine on my return!

No issues with GMail here either, I'm in the US using imap.  Just like i said previously the crappy scrolling, otherwise all is great.

anyone of you guys have problems with kinetic scrolling? when I try to scroll faster with my finger windows file explorer or contacts list or other applications I get the old scrolling like wm 6.1 with that sound etc... it sucks. To get work kinetic scrolling properly i have to hold the finger for about 1 second then scroll. But if i want to scroll faster i get always the old scrolling... I have the V1 rom installed

Download and install FTouchSL and soft reset... "Do Nothing Else" and you shall have all the kinetic scrolling goodness you desire.  Too bad for email it don't work... MS jacked that up.

No we're not the only ones I guarantee that... I have seen people mention it before, I just believe there isn't a fix for it.  Otherwise people would have spoken up by now or they're shy lol.

What page pool size did you decide was best for W1a??? (didn't see it on 2nd post, but I could have missed it) I really do not mind which one you did use - just want to know to watch the speed to see what's up. I am going to flash it. mainly because of the changed font.
