@ Unksol - Well as far as the lady is concerned if you look a page or 2 back you will see sector posted a pic so you could just download and install it or you could check out my wallpaper packs as she is in one of the packs.

@ mynullvoid - If you want that font I can try to upload the W1 Rom with those fonts as that is the rom I currently have on my phone.  Or if you prefer not to flash again, what you can do is copy all your cprs to your pc and change the font in all of the cprs to handelgotd and then if you want it across the system as well as in menu's and your start button you have to change the registry settings for fonts to handelgotd instead of tahoma.  If I'm not mistaken there are 4 places to change the font in registry  -   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > GDI > SYSFONT  and also SYSTEM > GWE > MENU > BARFNT ( AND POPFNT) , backup one screen back to GWE > OOMFNT.  That would be the last one.  And I'm an idiot here's a link to Microsoft if my stuff doesn't make sense.  Also don't forget to download that font handelgotd and copy it into \Windows. 

EDIT: You don't even have to just use that font (handelgotd), you can use whatever font you want just remember to follow those steps up there as well as copying your new font file into \Windows. Also make sure whatever font file you attempt to use that the file isn't very large because I tried one that was 50kb and it kept locking up my system and wouldn't let me hardly do anything.

Page pool is needed if you want your phone to work fast. So yeah I guess he can cook you a 1mb page pool rom but you won't like it.

After a lot of everyday testing between Khuanchai's 12mb, 8mb and 4mb PP ROMs I concluded that the 12mb one is the fastest one. System is more responsive, screen is more sensitive etc. as well as being stable.

Hello SECTOR,

testing now your new ROM.

as i like MANILA i found on a spanish site a brand new version (i am spanish) V3.0 fully working on WM6.5 and with updates fixes.

BUT

the problem is that during instalation it stops ... the people on te spanish board have same problem with your ROM. they can´t istall it.

ist is possible that this instalation CAB ist only for spanish ROM´s?

that woult be a disaster ;) :D

is there a possible to make it work with YOUR ROM´s ??

Hi this question is for sector i flashed your latest rom on my omnia so far no major problems thanks but having trouble with the chome editor creating new panels a problem sometimes they show up other times they dont oh how do i link the music panel to differnt media player? and is there a good tutorial for chome? oh and where is the picture of the lady on the main screen stored in cause when i change themes it seems i loose her for good?

chome editor is a bit buggy. best approach is to write manually the panel i guess.

take examples from the existing panels.

you cannot use diff music player as the responsible .dll is for wmplayer only.

i dont think 4mb will be ideal. more rams doesnt mean everytime speedy system but i can test it although. it will be very slow as far as i know.

do u have any problems with 14mb? i might decrease it to 12.

Could you please consider 8mb version? 14 or 12 , it doesn't really matter.

For me video on 8mb Khuanchai rom works faster than in your 14 mb pagepool rom. And as I use 3 tabs often in opera it sometimes quited (probably not enough memory).

Does your thoughts and tests on this (which I highly respect) consider a situation where memory left is about 70mb/40mb or even less??? Does a different pool size even have a different impact if program working memory is below 40mb vs having lots of usable memory available???

Maybe chefs would consider releasing two versions of their builds, one with 4mb/8mb PP and another one with 12/14mb PP. This way users can choose what's better for them. Personally I find not so much difference between these PPs (I guess we all are so anal with our Omnias :D ).

ok @Sector. An english version works (a little bit because crashes many times)

problem seems to be that this cab is only for spanish ROMS.

it´s pity because this spanish Manila Cab is realy good and there are many thins fixed an added.

perhaps someone knows how to make work this version on an english ROM

I keep coming back as its just so feature full.. anyone know how to improve responsiveness? i find that after using for a few hours that applications get stuck and scrolling on today screen starts to get very slow and often i have to wait a while before i can do anything.. i miss the font too, i was blown away on previous rom.. possible to have this just on today screen?

I dont know if it messes up other apps but i dont think so. The cprs do not interfere with other apps anw.

For me works great and i never saw any problems with other apps.

I think ppl where talking about dpi's (vertical spacing) and they got confused :D.

Just might not support non-english characters. Tahoma and SegoeUI supports for sure though.

What you are gonna want to do is copy all of your cprs from \Windows to your PC and use Notepad to change all the fonts from what they currently are to echelon.  Before you copy all those files back into \Windows on your phone you will need to copy the text file I have included into \Windows. Unfortunately I am unable to make cabs so I cannot create one for you... Sorry.  Then as far as changing for your system fonts you need to use a registry editor to change your system fonts from tahoma to echelon.  They are located in Local Machine > System > GDI > SysFnt.  Also you will want to go into System > GWE > Menu > BarFnt and PopFnt and then also under GWE > OOMFnt as well.  Make sure you save all your settings and then soft reset.  Another thing I could do for you is just send you my cprs if you wanted to just use my cprs and you could try mine and then you would just need to do the registry settings.  Make sure to backup your cprs first so if there are any issues going back to your previous state won't be an issue.

Feel free to drop by my wallpapers thread, I haven't added anything recently as I have been kind of busy and I want to reorganze the thread to make it easier to download files as they are right now they are scattered through the 4 pages which isn't bad but if I continue I want them to be easily accessible.  I will post that picture for you here though.  Enjoy friend! 

EDIT: If you like my wallpapers leave kudos, I'm just trying to gauge to see if the interest is there for me to continue creating the wallpapers or not.

For me it mainly messed with the font on the phone dialpad. It just wasn't spaced right with the large number and the smaller letters on each key. As sector said, the rest of the problems seemed to be with vertical spacing that will remain the same. But I am very glad he changed the font used on the dialpad. :D
