having another problem.. a few vids don't play through windows media player.. anyone know if i can get codecs? or do i have to use another player in order to play them?

Hi Guys,

I've just installed the latest ROM and its great! However, i have a slight problem with the wifi, it connects but the phone will not use it as a connection to the internet. I open a browser or my emails and it will not connect to the internet with te wifi, i have to disconnect the wifi and then let it connect to GPRS,3g etc to allow me to get on the internet. Is there something i can do to fix this?

Guys, i'm having a problem with my Omnia. using W1a ROM, sometimes my internal storage (My Storage) disappears and will have to reboot the phone to fix it .

Any one has a fix for this problem ???

same problem here.. this thing never happened to me for the last few roms.. shokkas final rom got this same problem also..

maybe you guys have suspend lock enabled on smart lock?

Hello!

I just flashed to the newest version, and restored massages and so one with the PIM Backup. But all the massage conversations where reorganized. So no all my massages to the receiver first in the conversation, and the senders massages are last in the conversation ( So they aren't ordered by date).

Is there a way to fix this, so it is organized by date??

wow, i just flashed to the last version, very cool ;)

but one thing in my mind is: my omnia cannot play MIDI file now. try to running with default player (sndplay) it says "not enough memory", try to play with WMP it doesnt respond at all. because of that, i cannot play this MIDI for my ringtone. any sollution?

You have got to look at the bigger picture. While Core Player is a good program and maybe good for you to use, there are several other good players out there that other people prefer to use in place of WMP. WMP can't be removed. M$ has tied it in tight to the OS. But putting in Core Player would be a waste of memory for those using/loading another player. Why do that do them??? When there are several substitute programs to choose from and cabs available, just let each person choose what to add in.

hi guys

im on sectors - DXID1_v21806_vT1L_18mb - great rom btw (think its the rom ive stuck with the longest!!) ;)

and having trouble with selecting alternative keyboards, i set fingerboards/resco board/spb keyboard with default sip changer etc, but it keeps defaulting back to samsung keyboard. even when i try to switch keyboard it just brings up samsung default qwerty board.

can anyone help???

Ur good ron, I was just razzing you.  On another note I need help, I have been having issues with P-H-O-N-E-X and tried to uninstall so that I could reinstall it and it wouldn't uninstall no matter what the hell I did.  So what I tried to do was delete everything and anything that had to do with the program on my phone and still was unable to reinstall, it kept asking me to uninstall first.  So I went into the registry settings under local machine/software/ic0ns0ft and deleted those registry settings and im still unable to reinstall, it continues to ask me to uninstall first.  Anyone can please offer any advice other than hard reset, because I'd rather not use it than hard reset as I imagine as soon as sector gets internet back up and running we shall have a new rom.  Too loyal to go to kuanchi's lol, at least for now anyways.

yeah, if i could use touchplayer i would b happy but its nearly as bad as WMP with playing my vids.. i try my best to get them to a format that the player plays, but there are a few that it just gives my that pink screen and plays the music.. no video.. says unsupported format all the time.. ;)

One thing that worked for me (sometimes?) when I had a program that looked that way was to use the Activestink/Tools/Add-Remove and use the Remove from both locations button. Then install.

How can I associate an application to a file extension in my Windows Mobile, everytime I want to play certian movie clip, I had to start WM Player.

Also is anyone using S2U2 with any of sector's roms?  I'm having an issue where I turned Windows Classic lock back on and am trying to use the Caller ID function with S2U2 and it keeps getting issues if my phone isn't locked when a call comes in.  If my phone isn't locked with S2U2 when a call comes in, the lil popup window like 6.1 keeps flashing back and forth as well as S2U2 caller id is trying to display at the same time and I am unable to take a call.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  If my phone is locked and a call comes in, everything works great... which 90% of the time my phone is locked because I have it set to lock when backlight turns off.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: If it helps I am using the newest version of S2U2. I believe v. 2.0

Waiting for sector's 23001 rom. I see that some are having strange problems with Khaunchai's 23001.

What strange problems you been hearing?  I don't ever travel into Khuanchai's thread, anything really good or bad?  Lemme know bud.
