hey middiu, you should try the Goodies thread, 2nd or 3rd post, you have some themes there. The closest to what you posted is Jeffrey 2000 theme, Jeffrey2000 glossy black, but it's not black, it's light blue (or sky blue?).

hi forelli,

thanks for your reply, but the jeffrey`s themes has the same style ( more or less) of the others WM6.5 themes, i`m looking for a simply, banal, original WM theme, whit the old gray scroll bar ecc ecc

How do we remove htc task manager in your roms sector?  I want to try using this new Showcase X-Manager or whatever it's called, but I believe they are conflicting as I am having some issues.  If anyone knows how to that would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance.

sector, could you please post htcAlbum.cab (the one which works in the landscape too) in Goodies section?

Thanks ;)

Hello vinbeaver,

I just installed Showcase and my HTC Task Manager disappeared automatically. Everything seems to be working fine.

This new ROM works great so far - thanks a lot ;)

The landscape start menü background (windows\Default_stwater_400_240.gif) is distorted. I corrected the picture.

Edit: Something is wrong with the forum database... When i edit post #1 the picture is attached to post #2 suddenly, when i edit post #2, it's attached to post #1 again... strange

@all: i will try to add the new task manager.

hi sector,

first of all you are doing a great work. But, I don't think it's a good idea to include the "e-native showcase" like default task manager. People who want it can download and install it in a few seconds and it works. I think HTC task manager works great. I've tried the e-native task manager and I can say that I like more the HTC task manager. With e-native the interaction it's more difficult because you have to hold the X button and then you have to move your finger to the left to close or to go in the running programs.

Anyway it's up tu you...

thnx ardit

Hello vinbeaver,

I installed it on mine, and HTC Task Manager managed to disappear, but now I have no icon in the upper right hand corner.  and when I push there all I get is an arrow facing the left and another icon, and the only way it will stay up at the top is if I hold down in the upper right hand corner then I can open showcase which is kinda weird.

I'm kinda biased, but yes I did and I do have to say that I love sector's roms more... there's a lil more overhead which doesn't bother me so kuanchai's are faster but I am just more impressed by sectors.  Like I said I may be biased though because I have been riding sector's roms since I have had my Omnia, even before WM 6.5 so meh!  It's always gonna very by person and uses, I am not a power user.  I do a lil bit of music and video from time to time, and some games but nothing over intensive... oh and obviously calling, sms, and email.

I noticed the same, and that appears to be the only downfall but I'll roll with it for a bit see if I become hooked.  But yes sector, I say the majority of your loyal followers would probably agree HTC Task Manager is the best route for cooked roms.  Let us make the choice later if we want to add Showcase... I'm still testing it now and kinda of up in the air about it... looks nice that's about it so far.

EDIT: What would make it better is if there was an actual icon to click in the upper right hand corner to actually click on and keep the options open at the top instead of having to slide and open Showcase because if you don't move your finger fast enough you have to try again, or at least that's whats happening to me.

The fonts are very small now. Is there a way i can fix this myself?

Copy your cpr's into your pc and edit them with notepad and just change the font sizes.

i didnt like so much the showcase task manager.

it needs more things to be done and i prefer now htc task manager.

by installing the cab provided in xda it disables htc taskmanager.

im sorry but i wont include it to next roms, for now at least. it lacks some features which i like on htc's ones.

i wont cook 23003 as it is very buggy. i fixed the icons problem but then other things dont work. not any diff comparing with 23001 so all good for me ;) and you of course!

PS. im going for holidays from tomorrow until Saturday, so i will get more updates when i get back.

or u can do what i do and assign a hardwark button to open it up.. i assigned menu hold to open the voice command and menu short press to open task manager..

sigh.. the balance.. I'm a power user, i watch vids on a daily basis.. i stream music and run every other day while listening to music, connected to exchange and running that cool app.. sportspal! At work i get hundreds of emails which i access both from phone and laptop.. I stream vid (which i still can't get working on sectors rom..) from provider for free, including news broadcasts and sports, and update the weather every few min.. so there is a lot running already. i did however try using sectors 2nd last rom and found it to b fast enough 4 use.. but things like having to wait when opening an attachment (kept not registering the click) and when opening an email, having to again wait while it loads.. i don't have these probs with khuanachais'.. u get an email with an attachment, u click on the attachment and it downloads, then another touch and it opens in the app its for.. its all seamless.. however.. having said all that.. Sectors roms ROCK!! they just look so visually appealling! ;) its a hard choice.. By the way, I've tried a few different cooks and have stuck to these two.
