the time on received SMSs shows offset by 4 hours in all Sector's ROMs but when i flash my phone with Khuanchai's ROMs it shows correctly ... i tried the timestamp but it didnt fix the problem .... any suggestions????

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\MSCONTACTS:

Change to PlusSECContact.exe

Wait 30 seconds then soft reset.

hey sector, i'm sure u've heard of the 'latest' phone bin that is out from samsung.. I downloaded and extracted, then extracted your rom and cooked the 2 together.. have to test 2 see if its better.. I am getting an echo using your rom when on speaker phone.. not sure how to fix this. New phone bin is: XBIC1.. Anyone used it yet?

Hello everybody, I'm from Colombia and I got a problem... When i install M2D full for omnia the HTC album application that comes with it overwrite the application that comes with the rom 23001 and I get back the landscape problem with the HTC album that comes with the ROM... Anybody with the same problem? Any solution sector?

Perfect, thanks. YES it is better. It is fully finger-friendly (I hate those little letters for the names of the origin ContactManager) and, for me the most important point, you can choose where to create a new contact easily (sim or phone) and also change it quick

EDIT: If I do it in that way the ContactManager is the Samsung one but I can't dial a contact because it jumps right into the Homescreen if you select a contact... anyone can help?

It performs lookup and insertion number with caller name; for example if your phone was off and you got miss call SMS notification, or Sent Message Delivery SMS - this will append the person name by lookup in your contact directory. Another thing is when people text you someone's phone number, it shall append the person name along with the number. This will ease you from findings who's number is that.

Hi guys i tried to find a proper thread for this qestion but diden't find anny so i'm having problem with my screen aligment ;) when i try to alig screen and point exactly how it's need to be done it starts aphearing up again on an on :| i point exactly in the middle of the + in al 5 movments but it just keeps uphearing angain and again somone had this problem to? please help THX

Try changing into SeCContact.exe instead of PlusSECContact.exe.

I did it and now it works ;)

You could try checking out post #2 - taskbar elite - by Sector (I believe), it's similar maybe even the same as used in his rather excelent ROM's - but it does have a numerical readout for battery %/life remaining.

btw it really isn't that hard to find - you just had to start at the begining of this thread ;)

Was my question, too :-). I've just tried it. You have to change the value not the key itself (there 4 entries under these key)

I tried to change it to SecConacts.exe ( i have 5 entries... 3 of them are AB, and 2 DWORD (i didnt touch..))so i changed them, but now when i click on Contacts on the start menu i get "The file SecContacts cannot be opened, Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem....."

what should I do?

I also tried PlusSECConcats... also didn't work

Nevermind .. fixed it .. should be SECContact and not SECContacts

Hi guys Ok today I flashed to khuanchai latest ultralite rom and I have to say it was super fast and very touch responsive and program menu was super larger icons work a treat however there where a few things I did not like but only minor things samsung keyboard was missing, volume control was not the full page and some cabs didnt work like csp2 panel for titanium and other things just a matter of taste. I then flashed to sectors latest rom and this one was also very fast and respnosive not as fast as khuanchai but still very impressive and it has more of what I liked. So I think I will be sticking with this one for a while. Just like to say thanks to these guys who put alot of work and effort into these roms I think I speak for the rest of us and say that we really appreciate your work. Once again thanks.

khuanchai latest rom is amazingly fast and low ram usage. But I am back on Sector's as they hang together better and don't seem to have as many compatability issues (I like to add a few of the Samsung Original programs back in and many didn't work on khuanchai's) One area which I was surprised was that khuanchai's ROM seems to auto close ActiveSync, while Sectors Rom doesn't - it would be nice to have that feature on Sectors ;)

I don't suppose anyone has found a way to have the backlight stay on in the lock screen. IMHO - the last problem with these ROMS.

• wait 30 seconds then soft reset your Omnia
  

with these parameters it's worse :| some other ideas?

Of course it's worse with parameters that don't match your screen. Calibrating the touch screen is an individual thing and has different results on every device. I'll never understand why people think they can use fixed values for that. Trees also don't have all the same height...

If recalibrating your screen with the MS software don't work you'll probably have a hardware problem (?)

This new ROM works great so far - thanks a lot ;)

The landscape start menü background (windows\Default_stwater_400_240.gif) is distorted. I corrected the picture.

Edit: Something is wrong with the forum database... When i edit post #1 the picture is attached to post #2 suddenly, when i edit post #2, it's attached to post #1 again... strange

Thanks dude! These are the simple things that can bother me so much... Probably some sort of nervous problems in my head :D

i managed to get it working , i changed the usb port and it worked
