Guest cyw Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Hi. I've been reading through many pages already but is it stable for normal use? I basically just listen to mp3s, sms and call plus calander appointments. Nothing else. If it is stable, ima switch to the latest one. thanks loads ;)
Guest devilkazuya Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Just flashed X1Lite yesterday and the battery meter shows random numbers like it was 11 then 5 seconds later 76 and then 69. Just while typing this it was 76 and in few seconds its showing 59 and now 45. It just keeps changing to random numbers high/low. Also, I also noticed the vibration stops working. When i flashed W1Lite, the vibration was first working but then after couple of hours use it mysteriously stopped working. If you press the volume control and press 5 and then vibration icon it doesnt vibrate. I then flashed X1Lite yesterday and i tested vibration and it was working and now it does not work. Anyone exxperienced this? I will flash back to an older version tonight to see if there isnt a fault with my phone.

Guest GodsGift Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Reg. Vibration - Have you installed Opera? It's happened to me few times and i found it was the Opera fault. I uninstalled it - and everything OK. Cool - ta thanks ! Have removed Opera and the vibration problem is fixed. Is there a workaround for this as I don't like the new version of opera! Cheers, GG
Guest devilkazuya Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 removed opera and vibration is working... phew...i thought it was a hardware issue. Any ideas on the battery meter.
Guest engmisho Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 (edited) battery meter is very bad, showing random numbers. I'm on 23001 but this problem was there with the previous roms also. Sector I think it's better if you remove it from the new roms, as it doesn't seem reliable from the first time we have it. Edited July 11, 2009 by engmisho
Guest maboo23 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Help, My friends are saying they recieved my sms in wrong time? But in my display its ok. Anyone also experience this type of problem?

I am also having the same problem
Guest bigmaras Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 I think that everybody have the same problem with this battery meter. Random numbers for all day, once I have 30% battery after 5 minutes I have 60%. I think that this is problem in all cooked roms with this driver. Sector please remove this s*** in another rom.
Guest SnoopyDog Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 (edited) On my phone the battery driver even produces negative values. Sometimes i see freaky things like -3%... So i also think this battery driver is no good Edited July 11, 2009 by SnoopyDog
Guest chivi Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Can someone provide old zylonite_battery.dll please?
Guest OKA133 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Hi Sector, Maybe you could replace NoData by NoDataInRoaming. It is almost the same, but this one works better because it switches on/off automatically.
Guest MasterJam88 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Hi Sector, Maybe you could replace NoData by NoDataInRoaming. It is almost the same, but this one works better because it switches on/off automatically. Nah this isn't useful i think For example: i never want i-net connections even when im at home. I only want connections over wi-fi so this isn't a good solution isn't it? when it disables only in roaming...so i think the original nodata is the best solution... What do others think? greetz
Guest abuawab Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 i flashed the latest 23001 and arabized it it is working like a charm for me battery is a bit drained by bluetooth pairing to my car i had a slight issue when i installed Spam alert dialer , buttons don't respond occasionally thanx again
Guest Davodude Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Hey thanks guys the latest rom works very nice!!!! ;) Keep up the great work!
Guest elhamy201 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 the last build is ver responsive and nice , thanks Sector
Guest vinbeaver Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 There's nothing wrong with the battery, people have been complaining for some time now. Make sure you hard reset before and after flashing and your phone will need to go through 2-3 charge cycles sometimes 5 and you will see it stop jumping all over the place.
Guest eranst Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Cool - ta thanks ! Have removed Opera and the vibration problem is fixed. Is there a workaround for this as I don't like the new version of opera! Cheers, GG Pleasure folks :-) If anyone wants Opera versions which is fit to the Omnia resolution and work well, without damage the vibration - Just go to the following links: Ver 9.5 Build 2649 (Hope i remember well the number, anyway, it works fine on my device): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YF2GLYZF (Note: it's impossible to uninstall it through remove program) Ver 9.5 Build Build 15828 http://www.mediafire.com/?zoi4eunyj2w (I haven't tried this by myself but other users reported that this version works fine with the Omnia as well) By the way - Unlike most of the Opera versions - These versions are very good with right to left languages as well - i tried this with Hebrew and it's excellent. Enjoy!!! (P.s - i really want to flash the new rom but i am waitin' to solution regard the Battery problem. if anyone has something - pls report! thanks)
Guest SnoopyDog Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Yeah, there is no problem with my battery. But there is a problem with this patched battery driver which reports nonsense since it's there. And yes, i made a hard reset...
Guest vinbeaver Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 No problem with battery driver for me anyways... mine works greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!
