Thanks mate for a reply,

But i dont use auto rotation cause of some programs dont work the best with it. I use a button to manually rotate screen but going to the left.

Theres got to be away to change the default from left to right rotation.

there is.. if u go back to where pointed to, under the 3rd tab i think u can change the orientation it goes, whether left or right.. i have it set to a button too, camera button..

As nobody would answer me at your kitchen thread I have to try it this way:

I finally managed, thanks to your help an all the other cookers, to create a full German 6.5 Rom.

Although I've got the same problem as all the other ones with not english 6.5:

Sms would notwork.

My Problem:

If I use the da_g 407 files in folder Redist_Lang_0407 I can't open/answer/create new SMS/Email.

If I use the 409 files for this folder I can at least, read and answer to SMS/Email. Anyways: I can't create a new text message.

So I thought about replacing the German tmail with the english one. But I can't find the settings for that. Could you help me out with that?

Or do you think that won't work?

Some people also told that if you turn of threaded mode it will work. How do you disable threaded mode?

which version of dpi's are u using? there is a fixed package for that. mine works when i have created the 23001 greek rom so urs should also.

indeed the problem is in Redist_Lang_0407 as i can recall. maybe u need to change also gwes.exe from the 23001 if ur going to use a newer release (23003+).

Using the Y1lite ROM, I noticed that when viewing photos/pictures, trying to scroll through the pictures or edit the pictures, my finger leaves marks as if I were writing on the photo/picture. Never had that problem before in previous ROMS. I also have to second the comments on having a delay in answering calls as well as ending calls, using soft keys or even the hard keys. Never experienced that before either.

I may flash back to the X1 version as those problems did not exist prior. BTW...I did not install any additional programs or cabs that would conflict.

Oh wait I lied....I installed Genix' cMulticlock which worked ok on the X1 ROM, however on the Y1 ROM it appears that CMulticlock is configured for the landscape screen just fine but it doesn't fit when you hold the phone in portrait mode ;)

No complaints though....just observations in case it helps with testing and making improvement.....all hard work is MUCH appreciated

That's a feature. You can make several gestures, and with this you can actually see your gestures. Which obviously makes the whole gesture thing more easy! (e.g. you can draw a small circle around something in a picture, and it will zoom in to that circle).

Actually, this has been like this in the ROMS for quite some time now.

When I try to change the Omnia Keyboard (I installed it from a cab) to an other keyboard (i.e. finger keyboard or arabic keyboard), it does not change; it stays at the Omnia Keyboard. I have tried soft reset several times with no luck. Is there a way to resolve this issue or I have to go back to the old ROMs.

Also, have you seen Mr. Ryrzy WM Player??? It has finely been fixed. All the menus are now large and spaced for finger use. It's Wonderful!!! You can now press music/artist with your finger and get to your artist selections which are also spaced for finger use. The WM Player is now useable and no need for another after market player. Can you check on this and put it into your next ROM???? (please) Thank you for your awesome Roms!!

You need to use IMSelector to pick your default keyboard, and every soft-reset that keyboard will default to.  Why don't you post a link to that download for that WM Player?

i have a problem with the Y1 rom. actually not so much a prob with the rom than the theme DJKoaSkin

in the call window, without the keypad the words that says "Dialing" is black in color, but when they keypad is brought up, it changes to white and is as good as invisible against the white background.

this was not the case in previous version X1. any way to fix it?

I renamed my originals and copied the background wallpaer I wanted, using RescoExplorer - obviously renaming them 'default_stwater' first.

A soft reset was all that was required - for me.

Another option (much easier) is to copy your wallpaper to 'My Documents\My Pictures' and then go to 'start\settings\today and tick the option 'Use this picture as the background' while you browse to your picture file.

Thanks Michelle. I tried 1st solution with soft reset no reaction. 2nd solution doesn't work for Landscape. This is weird... i had no problem with previous rom.

That's a feature! Ok, it isn't really ;) . The CMultiClock plugin isn't ROM specific, so what you're seeing/getting sounds pretty strange. Can you post a screenshot?
