I think the only way to get this new finger friendly WM Player is to use Mr. Ryrzy new 6.5 M2d Rom!!

He said he is unable to make a CAB for it. ;)

Just installed the latest rom and it definately seems faster, thanks!! How do I enable the honeycomb type menu screen? I want to press start and immediately go to it...

I have a problem, whenever I flash with one of your roms, my video recorder stops working :S This didnt happen with some of your earlier roms, but now it wont work. What happens is that the camera like stops working (stays on one image) and like makes the whole phone hang, have to soft reset to make the phone work again.

Can you think of a way to fix this issue?

I think Sector should add more items to the FAQ on the first page ;) Some questions are asked on and on in this thread. I stopped counting. Maybe 30 times or more?

A: Startmenu - Settings - System - Large display - Uncheck "Use large start menu"

Q: Where is the ROM without Titanium?

A: There is none

Q: How can i get rid of or disable Titanium?

A: You can't get rid of but you can disable it. Startmenu - Settings - System - Today - Items => Just select another Today item than "Windows Default" (Titanium)

But i also have a question: What is "SMSDRFix" ? Someone wrote that he has Problems exiting SMS after writing. Does this come from the fix or should the fix prevent this?

In addition to my last post: If you "disable" Titanium you should have a proper replacement for it. A good one is "HomeScreen++" where you can make your own skins. Here an example:

Problem with keyboard (even NueNoBar 2.0 can't disable it):

This is an example for a HS++ skin. On the homepage (or with google) you'll find some more. Only the "keyboard problem" is annoying. But pls no further discussion here in sector's thread. It's only for kind of "brainstorm" ;)

Anyway - go to settings -> connections -> Browser connections and tick the auotmatically detect option

@tirano: How do you connect to internet? WLAN or GPRS. For some apps you have to configure that the specific network connects to the internet.

E.g. for GPRS go to "Start Menu" - "Settings" - "Connections" - " Connections" - "Tasks" - "Manage existing connections" - "Proxy settings" => Check the option "This network connects to the internet"

WLAN (should be "Off"): "Start Menu" - "Settings" - "Connections" - "Wi-fi" - "Network adapters" - "SyChip Jaguar WLAN GSPI card" - "My network card connects to:" => select "The Internet".

you need to take \SYS\OS\gwes.exe from 23001 build and replace it with ur current build. (delete the current and replace it with this).

it will fix the UI icon shadows, maybe some other things also.

As i have told MS is targeting on making new GUI and fixing gwes.exe memory consumption for example in 23XXX and 219XX thats why there are still many instabilities etc etc.

I don't know why, in this morning it was ok...

maybe, because I've unchecked all the smartlock lockings (because I couldn't answer incoming phone-calls)??!

please advise - even after soft-reset it comes up locked, no way to hard reset...

Now I can use my omnia only for incoming phone...

you should have at least Dim Lock.

why u cannot answer calls? Never had this problem. What program are u using for handling calls?

You can press the Power button to go to sleep and then press it again and it will show u the Unlock option most probably.

You can hard reset with the button method anw.

I use the phone-ex 1.4 for calls - it's best for me.

I've tryed to unlock it - but the buttons also locked..

i use also that but 1.4.5 version.

you should disable wm6.5 lock and enable the classic one.

So i looked into the folder and remarked that the imageinfo.bin is missing. Shall I use the one from my build?

Or have you just forgotten to upload the imageinfo.bin?

But he open every only a blank of HTCAlbum Page.

imageinfo.bin is hidden. Go to your settings and mark to unhide the hidden system files and you will be ok.
