Guest thebiker Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Really I tried to use HTC_Task_Manager_2.1.35096.cab & it doesnt work. Maybe I need to change any settings after install ? How can I start it ? =))) I tried to use yours ver. Installed successfully on Device memory, but no folders in Program Files are created. Also when I click on apps X button - theyre just minimized to nowhere! Do you change in HTC Task manager Button menu? Tick "End programs by tapping "X""?

Guest Michael122w Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 Hi Sector! this is a great ROM - really smooth and the improvements to the Chrome Today are great. I like what you have done with the soft keys - it has always bugged me to have a soft key devoted to the phone when there is a hard key which does the same thing! But please don't cook Rodium Menus into the ROM!! The cab works perfectly for those who like it - but with no way to diable it for those who hate it B)
Guest sector Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 so u can use the G1 version and i will make another release with ones who like the rhodium finger and change the contact keys, so everyone will stay pleased B).
Guest sector Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 2nd post updated --> vG1a. Grab it while it's hot B)
Guest RoSoMaK Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 sector I do not keep up over your work :( yesterday flash G1 , today G1a , That will bring tomorrow B) good job :(
Guest Cameron. Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 Sector i tried installing the samsung keyboard cab but its saying and i quote: Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions.

Guest ZtF Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 (edited) I've been thinking... What's the point of keeping the Samsung's touch scrolling? I'd say the WinMo 6.5. built-in is much better (smoother, gesture support etc.) I certainly can use 3rd party software to disable the touch scrolling and use the built-in but that's... I hope you I made my point B) btw. donation sent again :( Edited March 21, 2009 by ZtF
Guest sector Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 thank you guys for donations B). blue09 delete these values: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome] "SK1URL"=":MSWRLSMGR" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome\] "SK1TEXT"="Comm Manager" Im not sure if it will work but give it a try and put a screenshot please

Sector, nice version , but i personally prefer the G1. The reasons: 1. this version left only 78Mb memory, although it is lite (why?) 2. it is more beautiful without htc rhodium 3. the today screen has twice Contacts (in both soft keys). i try the registry trick. I prefer a version with almost everything of samsung applications. I don't know if this is against to your philosophy about rom's, but this is my opinion. I like as standard apps : office, original dialer, main menu, online widgets, slide show, media player, video editor, streaming player. Thanks for your realy difficult effort!!! The registry tick is working! Now i have in right softkey the Comm Manager and in the left key the contacts. So , with that trick , we can put any app that we prefer (instead of comm manager), right? Try the other trick and tell me if it works: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome] "SK1URL"=":MSWRLSMGR" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome\] "SK1TEXT"="Comm Manager"

Guest ronaldb3 Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 this one finger menu. I was wondering why your rom dropdowns look different. On the plus side it's easier to read and poke at with bigger spacing. On the minus side, some of the dropdown choices don't show on the first screen and you might miss them here, but they would all be on one screen before. IMHO Ron...
