Hi Sector,

i do not know why the M2D rom is huge in memory... i tried shokka rom today, and it has almost the same what u have in your rom, but it is half the size after install, now i installed all my applications, and i reached 60 MB only while yesterday after installing samsung navigation software and opera i reached 71 mb... can u check it out please when u have time...

is this possible you create 2 roms? With Black Application and normal samsung apps?

I think, your rom is the best ROM for Omnia but i don't like the black apps :-)

+1 here. Or sector, maybe you can just make a cab to get back to the original colors. like you said a few posts before

Need your advice!!

How can i disable auto close application as it very annoying when im doing multi tasking or maybe adding a option whereby we can select the auto close application will close if 3 or 4 applications (custom to individual perference)is running...Thanks!!

But for now... i need a temporary solution...Thanks in advance!!!

i found another bug with 23009 version Zeus lite..

if my phone in locked mode, when i receive a call, i cannot use the hard Green Button to pick up the phone.. i need to slide "Answer" button to answer..

however, the hard Red button work to reject a call as normal..

anyone got the same problem? any fix known to this?

I've tried the M2D roms with 8mb pp many times and found the Autokilling of prgms everytime.... So better I skip this rom and wait for a 12 or 14mb pp roms.... Hope, sector will release it soon...

this is a well-known winmo 6.5 "bug". I guess until the final release we'll have to live with it, but I'm not sure that this bug will ever be fixed.

hey sector, first of all: greetings from vienna/austria and thank you for the awesome rom! not only because of its functions, but also for the great visual styles, love it!!

unfortunately I've got one quite annoying problem with the rom: my windows mobile device center in vista x64 doesn't detect the phone. nothing happens when I connect it to the PC. no problems with the same phone and the same data cable on my friends XP machine...

any suggestions to solve this issue?

(sorry, for my bad english, I hope you'll understand my problem anyway)

May I suggest that you go to A1 and take a lenovo netbook? I did it with a Q10 Air, in order to flash from MY computer, not hassling friends (thanks to all of them!). I have a computer with Vista 32 bit and the Grandprix solution looked hazardous to me.

Or you can install xp on a virtual machine?

Thanks for your ROM'S, actually i'm using the 23007, it's very stable sometimes closes my apps, but It's better than the other roms that I tried before.

I got an Omnia i900L, 3G and everything it's working, currently using SPB 3.0.1 and works fine.

Well I'll try to upgrade this days to the 23009.

hey, thx for the reply, I almost can't believe that there's a second omnia in vienna :)

my problem isn't the process of flashing (did that on my girlfriends XP notebook). it's just the fact that i want to use and synchronize my phone with my own vista x64 machine.

as I said, I already found a workaround, 'though it's quite inconvenient.

I'm trying now to implement Titanium Weather in my German Rom.

PRoblem is: If you install the cab you'll get this screen:

So I extracted the cab using pkg2cab.

I think the problem lays within the rgu file: Because of my German Rom The program gets installed to \Programme\Titanium Weather instead of Program Files\....

Can I now change the values from Program Files in the rgu to Programme?

Is this enough or do I have to change the values in initflashfiles.txt too?

you have to change the values in the .rgu files AND in the initflash.txt files

the address in the initflash.txt file is the one where the file is placed during BuildRom process ; if this address is wrong , an error shall occur when the .rgu file will try to execute this file

If you ' re using Ervius' s Package Creator or Stzupy ' s cab2pkg application in a non WWE Rom , you change to correct many addresses in the initflash.txt files , especially the windows shortcuts ( Windows/Startup , Windows/ Start Menu / Programs , etc ) to suit to your Rom language

Hi Sector, first thanks for all.

I was probing the last rom, about the autokill app, i can tell you the problem is solved in part.

Tonight i run applications two at least and work well, but the problem is when the omnia go to sleep.

If i stop showcase taskmanager, 1 application do not die, but if i leave running the showcase the app die.

When the showcase are stopped and i run 2 application in background, when go yo sleep, the first app die.

The only case when 1 application do no die in sleep mode is without showcase, this application can die if you have a app program to run in a time. In resume with this new rom (DXID1_Zeus_23009_Lite), i can get only 1 app in backgorund, ican´t get 2 application in background after sleep.

Yes HTCScroll doesnt solve the problem.

Although when i have disabled FTouchSL and just used HTScroll was working like a dream but anw.

At last after many fights with the phone i think i found what was responsible for autokiling apps.

And that was the pagepool ;) .

The crazy part is that even i reduce or increase the pp size still the problem exists. Im guessing that the tool is messing app smth in the memory and apps just die. That might not be true for 6.1wm but from what i hear with othe chefs also all the 6.5 that have increased the pp size have problems also. I advise them to insert the xip with the traditional way -c OS.nb 1 xip.bin.

So from now on i will keep the original memory size for all my roms :) .

New rom will be online later.

I flashed with Zeus and had the problems I mentioned yesterday with hanging, autokill problems and having to soft reset after half hours use.

I am an impatient so and so and couldnt wait for your next release (dont want M2D etc) so I flashed with Kaunchai's 22 July ROM.

I'm sure it works fine for most but it semi bricked my omnia - twice. flashed and then after the first reset black screen of death. Hard reset twice but same thing.

Flashed back to Zeus and now all seems well. Thank god for SASHIMI as it meant i could auto reinstall everything whilst on the tube.

So the moral is (and no offence to Kaunchai) I'll be sticking with your ROMS as my phone seems to sulk when I dont.

Hi Sector, i really want to upgrade but as i found the Auto kill problem very annoying i decided to wait a bit.

Is the next version will be without pagepool? do you have just an estimation what time it will be loaded?
