Guest leighaus Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 (edited) sector, not sure if you can help me or not mate. but i got an issue with my omnia. its been happening the past couple of ROMs of yours ive ran. im not 100% if its due to the rom or something else, but my omnia is randomly turning off. like ill put it in standby mode and then go to put it back on and its been off the whole time. very annoying and theres no way to know unless you constantly check your phone. im not 100% sure if its just when u put it in standby, might do it other times too. i have nothing else installed, and its not from using WI-FI. you got any suggestions mate? its really killing me.. thanks leigh Edited August 1, 2009 by leighaus

Guest Mike178 Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Thanks again. Assuming that i will stay with Spb mobile shell3 for a while what ROM do You suggest me to install : the Lite one or the 3-in-1 M2D ? it is a matter of taste, i like the M2D.... it is very configurable and nice interface...
Guest nikosxri Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 i dont know why but when i install ftouchsl 2.1 the phone stops during booting and needs hard reset.Maybe splash screen randomizer is the cause.Has anyone this problem?
Guest theraf90 Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Please look at the ABOUT screen in IGO8 and tell me the build number. iGo 8 works on the latest m2d 3 in1 rom, i used it just yesterday
Guest zymmer Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Hi, I have tested 23009 M2D ROM and it is suffering the auto-kill problem. I usually change M2D theme to one that i think is using more memory (bigger images), besides i use Inesoft Phone (keeps resident on memory), GAlarm (also), S2U2 (iLock is always there), Rotation Service and Touchpal, so my base memory usage rises to 46-47% and this make ROM almost unusable since 50-55% triggers the problem. Ssometimes i cant even open Resco Explorer that inmediately closes or even Messaging pop-ups to check email and auto-kill closes S2U2 and this is a very nasty side effect when Omnia is in the pocket :) I am back to Khuanchai 23001 3-in-1 and this problem is gone, i can rise memory usage to 90% with no problem.... My theory is that after 23001 Msoft included/enabled/modified this feature to prevent memory starvation and maybe is not well ported to Omnia, and feature thinks that memory is critically down when is not.....Can someone else try to check this theory?. Would be nice if someone that says that it has no problem of this kind trying to open 5 or 6 memory hunger applocations (Opera with a newpaper web with lot of photos and flash, Internet Explorer with the same newspaper web, Google Maps, Live Search) and try to rise memory usage to 90%.... Regards, Zymmer
Guest Igr Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 I am back to Khuanchai 23001 3-in-1 and this problem is gone, i can rise memory usage to 90% with no problem.... What the PP size do you use?
Guest vermillionman Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 Hi all, Is there a battery meter that goes on the titanium menu so i can see how much battery power is left? It would help me alot cause there is two clocks showing in the main screen and no battery indicator. :)
Guest SnoopyDog Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 To the "autokill" problem: When i look in the list of running processes, i see a task named "ASyncKiller.exe". I can't remember i've seen it before in older ROMs. Maybe people with autokill problems should kill this process and see if things get better...
Guest copperfield Posted August 1, 2009 Report Posted August 1, 2009 To the "autokill" problem: When i look in the list of running processes, i see a task named "ASyncKiller.exe". I can't remember i've seen it before in older ROMs. Maybe people with autokill problems should kill this process and see if things get better... This process comes from a program that is supposed to "auto" kill the allways present Active Sync! It's not related to the "autokill" problem.

Guest racrac Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Dear Sector, I've installed KC rom 3in1 21928 earlier and have reinstalled yours (23009 m2d) lately (because I can read all chinese in your rom but i cannot do so even chinses cab is installed in KC's rom ;) ). In KC's rom, the bookmarks can be appeared on the internet page (m2d) but i can not make it on yours. :) can you teach me how to make the bookmarks appear on the internet page in your rom caused i find it is much more convenience (no need to go through several pages before go into the page which i need) ;) . Thanks very much. racrac
Guest Billou Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Hi, I have a problem with the battery status, I explain : Actually, my battery is 80% I plug in sector, it's 70%, I unplug, it's 60% etc... Have you got a idea why ?
Guest hasnainhyder1 Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 sector, not sure if you can help me or not mate. but i got an issue with my omnia. its been happening the past couple of ROMs of yours ive ran. im not 100% if its due to the rom or something else, but my omnia is randomly turning off. like ill put it in standby mode and then go to put it back on and its been off the whole time. very annoying and theres no way to know unless you constantly check your phone. im not 100% sure if its just when u put it in standby, might do it other times too. i have nothing else installed, and its not from using WI-FI. you got any suggestions mate? its really killing me.. thanks leigh Hi... I think there is no problem in ROM ...because if there would be then ev1 would be complaining... So it leaves us with the conclusion that there is some problem in ur phone.. Ok i guess that the battery of your phone is loose inside the case just a little bit and when you move the phone it gets disconnected from internal terminals and thus phone turns OFF... Now i have guessed that because i had the same problem with three of my Sony Erricsson phones...well they are not exactly Omnia....but wot i did was to use a piece of Paper, fold it and place it along battery in a way that it became tighter and So the problem of Auto Turning Off was solved.

Guest Mike178 Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 hi can someone please tell me what the latest stable version of 6.5 is? and give me a link thanks it depends on what you are looking for, if u are looking for titanium only.. sector roms are the most stable in my opinion if u want a three in one rom... then u have to chose between shokka9 and ryrzy and khuanchai they both have very stable roms but the difference reside in the application used in each rom, u have to read their first post and decide what suite u most.. as for me.. i am using shokka M2D latest rom, i like it and his application suites me.. good luck http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...kka9-wm6-5-rom/ http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-i900-by-ryrzy/ http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-2-august-2009/
