Im having issues with the G1a rom.

When phone is locked using 6.5's slide unlocker, when the phone is alsleep, and i get an incoming call, 2/3 of the screen will be black.

It seems like the screen has been moved, i start up honeycomb using the start icon in top left, and the top of the honeycomb starts about 40px from the bottom of the screen.

It seems to resolve itself if i leave it asleep for long enough. Repetly putting it to standby and wake does not fix it.

Please advise.

im going to make a new rom then. without the R2VS. do u use it or it is disabled?

any other issues so far except the wakeup?

I had the issue as well but after I reinstalled the RSVS using the cab found in this forum, the issue is gone.

BTW, I am using G1b and I use S2U2. Thanks Sector.. but why so little memory left?

Hy.I have a question.I put the G1a firmware and the phone works now but i want to put the G1b and i can't.After i connect the phone it tells me that "no pda device found...close device " and the phone get's on.I try with the original firmware from samsung site but with that tells me that try to recognize the phone and after that the phone restart.The phone work well but i couldn't change the firmware now.Please help me.

Sector, there is still some case incoming call shown UNKNOWN NUMBER and yes I went off frequently even at WiFi off

Ok.After a while i succed to upgrade.If somebody face the same problem like me i will write the few steps:

-first do a hard reset,then instal regedit and change the firmware version to DZHH1,with this you won't get the version error.

-after you should delete all you have in storage and then enter in settings where you enter the hard reset and reset only the storrage memory.

-connect your mobille to pc suite and start upgrade.it will tell you that he tray to recognize the phone and the phone will restart.don't unplug the phone and don't close the upgrade window.go to your menu and settings hard reset and reset only the phone memory.you should see that the phone restart and begin the upgrade.

Do you change in HTC Task manager Button menu? Tick "End programs by tapping "X""?

I dont see tasks icon on today screen, so I cant enter to the settings..

flashed G1b, thank you, got problems with wake up device, i left for 1 minute, it cannot wake up anymore had to soft reset, flashing back to 6.1 B)

office is not included thats why u cannot unzip. install office and it will work.

im sorry but im removing the Samsung apps and i know that cabs exists for them.

which apps are u using frequently?

Well i found that a few program like sharepix dont work well as a cab namely when you subscribe to picasa (for instance) the login proces doesnt work properly. Also i installed (probably wrong cab) office but its not fully recognised, so no unzip and it doenst recognize my docs. When i open word i can open the docs but not the other way around..strange anyway since i use almost all the cabs (smartreader etc.) it takes a lot more time when i flash ;-) so i guess im lazy B)

anyways still i enjoy your work

I meant like in Qbus the menu interface had the hexagonal style layout, i love that. and when you push start i would love it if it wasn't a pop up to like settings menu but straight to the menu.

I don't have any problem with exchange server sync ever with any of Sector ROM, I even have push mail enabled. Your problem not comes from this ROM
