Guest new2city Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 2nd post updated with G2. I have removed totaly G1b. more bug fixes on next version higher than 21193+ . thank you for your support guys Hi Sector, could you please check as to why midi files cannot be used as ringtones anymore(in G1b)? Furthermore, when I click on a midi file in explorer, it tries to play but comes up with out of memory errors..
Guest GodsGift Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Sector, Does G2 still have finger menu??? Oh and cheers for the R2SV tips guys, reinstalling the cab does fix the issue. Cheers, GG
Guest sector Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Yes it includes the Fingermenu. Many of you dont like it so it will be removed in higher versions.
Guest Rapixx Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Can any one tell me if the sensibility is as good as wm 6.1 roms ?
Guest GodsGift Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Can any one tell me if the sensibility is as good as wm 6.1 roms ? The sensibility (sensitivity?) is much better. But you can improve the sensitivity and accuracy in 6.1 by using FavouriteHackings or a similar registry fix. GG
Guest new2city Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Yes it includes the Fingermenu. Many of you dont like it so it will be removed in higher versions. please link to a working cab before you remove it. It's not perfect(that it does displays only a truncated menu) but it really removes the need to use the fingernails/stylus to select certain things..
Guest sector Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 the cab is in 2nd post. B) but it might not work if it is not cooked.
Guest Shadowy Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the quick work in supplying G2. A couple of points, Windows Live doesn't appear on the today screen after installing your cab, and the keyboard reverts back to standard wm after a soft reset. Trying to change it to SS doesn't always work, sometimes gives a SipStub error 'Can't Load Resource Dll'. Loving it otherwise though! Edited March 23, 2009 by Shadowy
Guest sector Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 For WMLive go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CWindowsLive\Disabled and change the value to 0. Keyboards work fine here. To keep the default keyboard after soft reset go to your Programs and run IM Selector. Choose ur favourite keyboard and have fun

Guest sector Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) take a look at the latest vid without it. i think it is better as it lags less. Edited March 23, 2009 by sector
Guest orly_mihai Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 take a look at the latest vid without it. i think it is better as it lags less. You're right.I took a look and look very nice and move's more faster without honeycomb.
Guest ronaldb3 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 take a look at the latest vid without it. i think it is better as it lags less. But there have been some comments after people tried screen without honeycomb- it was hard to follow icons without the honeycomb guide. It seems your eye/mind thinks the icons should be lined up across without the lines to guide you. Also the honeycomb can indicate to your eye unconsciously if there are more icons below the bottom of the screen to page down for. Some of this actually made sense to me when I read it. IMHO Ron...
Guest mazeli Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 take a look at the latest vid without it. i think it is better as it lags less. Wow, this looks really awesome :-) But what is actually this honeycomb? is it the grid that has been removed?
Guest sector Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 just this picture maybe also some customization in cpr
