nice rom, VERY fast through the menus now :(

only problem so far is i have a small white bar down the right hand side of the screen and along the bottom. Almost like batti does at the top.

nevermind put my own background and it fixed B) How do i change background for the Menu? That is broken too.

this has already been raised ... see previous posts...

you can change the wallpaper and it will go but still remains in the honeycomb.

Great rom,

Unfortunately, new style of menus (6.5 style) works only with classic blue theme!!!

Hope it will be fixed in the next release...

Ok update ... ignore my connection problems..

Hard once .. no connection ... reboot PC ... no connection ... hard reset again ...

IT WORKS!

Have no idea what that was about... so everthing is fine now

(except the white line in honeycomb!)

Hi Sector,

Just tried your H1 ROM. Looks very good - so keep up the excellent work!! B)

I did however find a small bug as only English is available as T9 dictionary. All the needed files are in \Windows but the registry only has "AvailableLanguages"="0109"

If you change it as showed below, all other languages will be available and probably working. I tested Danish (0106) (as that's my native language) and it's working fine after changing the registry!

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\XT9]

"AvailableLanguages"="0109,0105,0106,0113,010B,0114,0115,0116,011D,010C,0107,0110,010A"

Tak. It works perfect after changing the registry.

Hi there, a few of us have asked this .. and sector is investigating ... but I think it will require a fix to the rom and reflashing.

I just encountered an error: If you browse your contacts there are those little arrows but in the middle of them the letter is missing.. For exemple: < > instead of <m>..

The required files are in the Windows directory....mine are...

Just look for the right ones, not at home so i cant tell you the filenames....Best bet woult be to actuve sync the Omnia to PC and view the folders by large icons so you can see the images, find the backgrounds you are after, copy them to PC and do as you wish.

Just dont blame me or anyone else if something goes wrong. You shouldnt be able to harm the Omnia, just that some images may or may not work properly. There is always hard reset to rescue you

Thats a comfort when I've hard reset and reinstalled all my apps twice today already!

You can just overwrite them...use Resco or TC to do it! :(

More Errors: If you open the Honeycomb menu in vertical mode there are only 3 columns...

If your device is locked your not able to move the slider to the very edge.. it unlocks earlier... is it on purpose that you can't drag the slider to the very edge in horizontal mode?

EDIT: If you go to settings and click on "Lock" it opens "Contacts" too...

OK found it, its called ... StartMenu_Background_Screen_240x400.png

As the top and bottom bars are now transparent and show the desktop should this file now be shorter than 400?

Is the white line a result of WinMo compressing the file to fit?

IGNORE THAT ...

just opened it in PSP5 and there is a definate white line ....

Gonna edit it and put it back on my omnia ..

OK IT WORKS!!!

Take any image, resize it to 240 by 400 and save as StartMenu_Background_Screen_240x400.png and copy it to your Windows folder. I then soft reset my omnia and bingo no white line!

Loving this phone!

i wouldn't mess with the size of it...

Leave as is, the transparent borders do not mean the background should be smaller..

Dont forget to change both the landscape and portrait images B)

For those who want transparant background in honeycomb, the solution was already posted in this thread.

There is a zip file with two files that you can copy to your windows directory. On G2 this worked perfectly. On H1 it works but the background is much darker then original. Not sure why.

Dude this is VERY nice...

saw it on the original post (think I spend too much time on here) but liked the honeycomb. now I have commited to a honeycomb free life, I love the transparency.

after i cracked my omnia, finnaly i`m back to business (flashing rom`m) B) :(

i`ve flashed my omnia with sector`s rom and i think`s great, but i`ve got a little problem. the explorer looks the same as usual

how can i look as sector`s?
