Back to 6.5. I found out that if you feel like Titanium is lagging a bit you can do the following:

Find Titanium_240x400.cpr in \Windows\ search inside it and find the line that starts with "ControlSequence ID.." scroll left until you see the FramesPerSecond parameter. Set that to 75 instead of 30.

Save, and reload the Today screen applet (Settings->Today->Items->Tick off Windows Default, close the Today settings page, and renable).

You can play with the value and see what is better for you.

Added Titanium Customization tutorial (check 2nd post)

SK2TEXT = the name which it will be shown on the right key

SK2URL = the path where the program is located to run.

The CHome is located in registry under \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Chome\.

For example i want to change the CClock tab to open my desirable Alarm application instead of WM default.

1. Disable Titanium.

2. You need to browse to \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Chome\CClock and change the SK2URL to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Clock.lnk (if you are using Samsung alarm).

3. Enable Titanium. Thats it.

Can this also change the location for Pictures? (mine are stored in \My Storage\DCIM\100SSCAM) as i cannot see SK2TEXT or SK2URL listed in registry for any other keys apart from the CClock ?

Try creating then the 2 keys.

But what is the problem with the Pictures? Mine are in the same location and it can be viewed without a problem.

I used chome configurator CHomeConfig.CAB

Highlight CLinks

Then Menu-Panel-Customise

Then Menu-Page-New

You can add as many pages as you want.

Select Page2 from drop down menu. Leave Page1 as you need this to update weather.

Select Menu-Template-Application Launcher and pick one of your installed programs.

Where it says Collapsed you can enter name here which will show on your panel in today screen.

Continue with Page3 etc....

Click Done then Menu-Exit to save your changes and soft-reset.

Adding links works a treat and many thanks, but noticed trying to place the items in a different order didnt (tried to put clock at top)

You have to manually make it in registry. check these values:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome:DefaultXML

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome:ExtensibilityXML

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome:Plugins

or you can use the TitaniumCustomizer which is cooked in the rom. check in Programs

I think it gets the values from cmhome.dll for the default panels so thats why some values cannot be changed.

I changed them and when i re-enable the Titanium it gets the default values.

If you have any ideas i will be glad to hear them B).

I managed to create more panels by the way with the help of CHomeEditor but some other disappear, there are on the screen but invisible :( hehe.

sorry if my post came over as ungreatful :( (uni deadlines and im finishing up some work arghh)

I just meant that the circle highlight makes the text hard to read, imo it'd be better with a lower opacity. but it does work well B)

hmm...have someone installed htc task manager 2.1 into the newest rom without task manager?

i still have tested every cab found on web and also hard resetted the device many times but still no luck with htc task manager...

please help me

There are some apps which have to be cooked to work.

e.g. finger menus and I believe the HTC task manager.

got wktask to work ok, just make the bacground and forground colours black :( with no skin on. It'll do for me B) Launcher will come in handy too. however i cant click the start menu. :/

Try installing sdkcerts.cab, then task manager 2.1, and do a soft reset

This is how i got mine working.

sector, I hope your H3 will not have same issues like H2. Especially problem for landscape, the simple quest, why on earth you want to do something when you can't see it.

Task Manager is a must, even some people complain ugly, but the best part is that it works, please keep this or put others if better.

Hi, using 21195 for a few days now .

Very fast and stable.

The only problem I have is with G-Alarm .

It overules the wm 6.5 slidebar and therefore snoozes or turns off the alarm when the alarm goes off while the Omnia is in my pocket.

Is there a way to avoid this ?

Yes and thank you for this but when i only install this cab, no "x" is in the upper right corner (also after soft reset)!

Try to set ur options again and then full update the weather. I have only set the location code.

worked for me.. however i already had the task manager installed, then installed the certs file and rebooted.
