it happened to me twice too. i don't think anything to do with PowerSaving function, but it fixed after a hard reset or reflash

Thanks sector for ur graet rom

just i noticed aproblem after flashing my phone to 21202

when my battery drobed to 10% and during recharge i soft rest my phone and after the nice animation and when the orange nice screen comes it stucks and nothing appear

i just tried to soft reset my phone 10 times and only the orange screen comes and nothing else

any idea about this problem and r u going to update ur rom with one without time bomb since u ans khuanchai got the solution

Thanks

yes in next version im going to implement also the fix as i found it B) but have to talk to Khuanchai for some other fixes. he is sleeping now and tired so tomorrow.

try to take out battery and charge again. if still no good hard reset.

hey sector, i got the same prob i had with your previous rom and that is that the battery doesn't last long at all.. I flashed as soon as rom came out and had a full battery. woke up this morning and it was under 10% so i couldn't get calls, etc.. otherwise it seems so far very good. very fast as others have reported.

sorry nix i have no probs with battery issues. im really impressed also that came out so good :( heheh.

maybe u need to hard reset as hlay mentioned.

with this new ROM, i've just been using for couple hours. but i don't think it's bad on battery life at all.

the battery drain happened to me was on other ROM from Khuanchai, not the ROM, i think something went wrong in while flashing. don't really know, sorry

Ron where is DXIA5 phone.bin? can i have a url to download?

Well I guess the key part of my question is when it is available. I've seen one post on another thread that he thinks it is available. I think it's not released yet or he saw a fake. But when you do find it for real, please put it in one of your releases as that will be the best way for the rest of us to get the latest.

Thanks... Ron...

Hi nixxss,

We were talking (writing?) about the phone part. On Roms based on DXIA5, the phone bin has been DXIA2, so most of the cooked roms have just been leaving out the phone bin (and the cooked rom flashes quicker without the phone bin). Check your Settings/System/Version to see your rom and phone versions. (Most of us have PDA i900DXIA5/xxxxx and phone i900DXIA2.)

So is what you sited the phone bin DXIA5 or a rom DXIA5 (that probably has the phone bin A2)???

Thanks,

Ron...

i actually asked this before and that's the response i got from other forum users.. i flashed my omnia with the rom from Taril (do a search for taril's rom on modaco.com) and then flashed with sectors rom. this way i got both pda and phone to DXIA5.

or even here: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-r...t-from-pdaviet/

That would work if Taril's rom really does have a new DXIA5 phone bin, as sectors rom without any phone bin leaves what phone bin you have as is when you flash sector's rom. That sounds good. I will definitely check this out.

Thanks,

Ron...

i've been doing it for the last 3 roms when i've flashed with sectors rom. I didn't like the G2 rom as my battery died after a few hours.. or overnite and i couldn't have that happening as i use phone as an alarm. i'm still testing this latest rom as after flashing last nite it nearly died this morning and that's only after about 6 hours with no use at all.. so i may have to move again to another rom until this is fixed although Sector says he has had no problems.. might b due to the phone part being DXIA5? not sure..

I have also flashed with this rom: Khuanchai_Omnia_M2D_21189_BTFixed for the phone part and that was working well however didn't look as polished as Sectors so i keep cumming back 4 more..

If anyone has more news on the bat issue, please let me know..

Well I am using G-Alarm, my phone part was DXIA5 and I did not notice any extra drainage of power and G-Alarm is known that its heavy on resorces! I just flashed my phone part with BUIB1 and cant comment yet. I find very little diff between roms regarding battery life!

Thank you authors for this ROM. This is the first time I flashed my Omnia and it was smooth sailing all the way (I installed on Vista). So far everything works well, but I haven't had a chance to test it thoroughly. Anyway... I like it... A lot. Thanks again.

Is the latest phone part update BUIB1 or DXIA5?? And is BUIB1 better than DXIA5 regarding batt life or not?? Anyone got info?? B)

not sure how much difference the phone part being DXIA5 makes.. most likely better off sticking with whatever you had before and flashing sectors rom which leaves the phone part as it is.. i have battery issues and i'm thinking now its most likely the fact that i have flashed the phone upgrade as well from another rom.

Hi everybody,

I was using the H2 version and it was ok.

I just flashed the I1 version and there's something really strange.

My wireless manager shows just the phone and bluetooth.

And, I dont have the wifi settings at settings/connections..

that's just with me? on H2 version it was ok. will flash it back.

seems to be working for me.. i use 'favourite settings', and just turned it on.. sitting in a melbourne city office and it picked up a network straight away.. i'd suggest reflashing or before u do that, do a hard reset..
