My version is DXIA5,the problem is that i cant turn off the flight mode or the phone on.

Guys, have you realized that when pressing the middle button (the direction), the 'select' action does not work?

This is the only thing that I found that does not work on I2...

Hi CP,

I tried to test what you said but it seems to work ok for me. What I did was go into Total Commander and my music folder. I pushed the center select button to pick an album. Worked ok. I then pushed it again as the first song of the album was highlited and the song called up Media Player and played.

Is that the reaction you want but can't get??? or am I missing what you want to do?

try Inesoft contact manager, it shows caller ID even WM6.5 fail to do so

hi. i suspect that you are trying to flash in vista (saw you in a vista thread). there is no way to flash the phone in vista with GrandPrix.

- install Total Commander,

- navigate to \\Plugins\registry\HKCU\Control Panel\Version\CustomVersion

- and change value from DXIA5 to DXHK3,

- than update your with the official DXIA5 rom from Samsung the official vista way.

good rom by the way... but i found 1 problem with I2... its the waking up / locking problem...

unfortunately i cannot wake my omnia up. i have tried enable and disable the "lock device when woken up function".. but still the phone wont wake up.. so i had to reset the phone again...

does anybody face the same problem??

just letting you guys know that finger keyboard 2.1 has been released over at xda!

it brings a whole lot of improvements over 2.0 and is the best one i've used so far on wm.

took me a while to get it working cause had to manually go through the folders and remove the previous version cooked into the rom,

but sector, you could include this in your next release (I3? maybe) to make it easier

I really want to thank you and everyone else who has worked hard bringing 6.5 to omnia.

I tried every other 6.1 ROM, every shell/skin for OMNIA and was not happy atall with any combination as the 6.1 was the main problem to me and touch unfriendly. I dont like M2D and the samsung widget is a big joke to be honest. 

I had flashed 6.5 when it was in early stages and didnt test it thouroughly, i just tried running sat nav and it didnt work so i flashed 6.1 back. 2 days ago i gave up and decided to sell omnia.

Just before i put it up for sale i saw your screenshots yesterday and flashed "I2". All i have to say is, i am HAPPY! So far i have had no problems atall. I will donate to all who has worked hard on this in coming weeks as much as i can. For now please accept my donation to your hard work.

finally, i encourage anyone on 6.1 to give this try and donate to this wonderful folks.

no problems here. even im using Windows Default lock now, cause the slide is conflicting with p.h.o.n.e.x .

I used chome configurator CHomeConfig.CAB

Highlight CLinks

Then Menu-Panel-Customise

Then Menu-Page-New

You can add as many pages as you want.

Select Page2 from drop down menu. Leave Page1 as you need this to update weather.

Select Menu-Template-Application Launcher and pick one of your installed programs.

Where it says Collapsed you can enter name here which will show on your panel in today screen.

Continue with Page3 etc....

Click Done then Menu-Exit to save your changes and soft-reset.

I re-installed ActiveSync and rebooted pc. Phone flash worked ok then

If you are using one of these you might want to look at khuanchai's winmo 6.5 thread.

Did't touch that setting, but know everything is working.

Software that I use to complete the rom:

Spam alert: replace contacts, phone pad and callerid

TouchPal: keyboard

TaskFacade: taskmanager

Youtube Client: what? =)

SS Clock: 'cause i like this alarm

And some games...
