Anyone here using VITO Sms Chat ? On the I2 rom, with wifi on and VITO Sms chat, the phone freezes when it goes into idle mode. Anyone facing same problem here ?

Up till now, i've been experience couple of times when phone freezes.

Hi Sector,

I have installed your great rom I2 and everything works perfectly. The only question I have and it probably has been asked before is when the screen locks the backlight does not shut off the screen and stays on.

i installed this and i don't find it that much easier to use than the default samsung keyboard.. all the keys are too small.. i think thats the thing i hate about winmo.. i can't use the keyboard.. anyone found an easy to use keyboard that i can use with my fingers.. not a stylus..?

IMHO, forget about all the qwerty keyboards, especially in portrait mode. Qwerty's are only reasonably sized when in landscape mode.

You should focus on learning to use phonepad and rely on T9... I have given up on qwerty(I came from a HTC wizard) ever since Paul told me to try phonepad.. buttons are big enough and T9 learns your custom words..

IMHO, that is.

BTW, when I was using my wizard, the only other keyboard I find useful was TouchPal.. but you got to pay..

I think you should consider hard reseting again, mate. something is definitely wrong if you cannot scroll through contacts.. I am using Ftouchsl2.10 to disable Samsung's touch scrolling and using WM65's built in touch scrolling and it is perfect..

Samsung Keypad (and the other keyboard like keypad) has a problem that in some cases you cannot select the TEXT layout, so you have to switch to full qwerty in those cases :\

Other really annoying issue is that sometimes it doesn't 'type' what you selected on the keyboard, this happens when you type really fast.

Until there is no fix for 2 issues, I will stick with TouchPal, the less worst :excl:

This rom freezes your phone if you're on wifi and email. When the phone's idle, it freezes and needs a soft reset to restart the phone.
