Guest sector Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Agreed so i dont understand what do u really want? back the honeycomb hexagons...? or just to darken a bit the selection? i said that if u want the hexs back it will lag like hell again the honeycomb
Guest kurniawan Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 so i dont understand what do u really want? back the honeycomb hexagons...? No, not really, i want them but that's personal. Some like The hexagons, some don't. I can place the files myself, it's not that difficult. or just to darken a bit the selection? No, not the selection, didn't mentioned that from beginning i said that if u want the hexs back it will lag like hell again the honeycomb Now that's the problem bro.... It's because of these 2 files, StartMenu_Background_Screen_240x400.png and StartMenu_Background_Screen_400x240.png. These files make the wallpaper in startmenu darker. And if we place the honeycomb hex's back it will look terribly dark. So i don't know what Khuanchai did with these files in his ROM??? I hope u understand know :excl:

Guest dddrko Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Your right on this one...... Wrong, i have a better solution!!! I have been busy with these 2 files using pocket artist, found out that they are layers with a grey colour with opacity..... deleted these layers and saved back. Results are: Before: After: Try tthem.... the files are below..... You only needed to erase this line "<Image ID="Background Screen" Left="0" Top="0" Source=".\StartMenu_Background_Screen_400x240.png"/> " from both StartMenu_Global_240_400.cpr and StartMenu_Global_400_240.cpr files

Guest vinbeaver Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 (edited) Yeah I do like that theme, does anyone think they could take that theme and make it work for the Omnia. Also Sector... your awesome taskbar on your phone, can we get that in your next rom or is it still not complete. Sector Rocks! Edited April 14, 2009 by vinbeaver
Guest mynullvoid Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Sector, First of all let me thank you for doing good job in producing a great ROM. One small comment, that the weather panel taking much space in today's screen; one is to display the weather and another one is extra which we use to setup and update the weather. Could you make in your next release: the weather have a right soft key named 'update' which will full update the weather data; and remove the extra panel. All my friends here who are using your ROM agreeable with this.
