is there any way to disable the default samsung smooth scrolling? the built in wm6.5 scrolling is so much smoother but it is only activated when the SIP is activated which is really interesting

This is the second time I replied to this question in this forum, again..

Just use FTouchSL2.10 to disable it.. I think I made it quite clear somewhere in this thread weeks ago..

i know that but installing ftouchsl will disable scrolling in honeycomb! the scrolling is still not as smooth as the default wm6.5's and resco explorer's

after reading the previous posts I downloaded and installed ftouchsl and I can confirm it DOES work with the honeycomb .. very nicely actually.

quite impressed ..

now if only we could improve sensitivity .....

(and I dont mean with a registry hack - its a hardware prob)

Hmm, I installed ftouchsl and enabled the scrolling.

After that I disabled it again and don't let ftouchsl start when wm boots. For some reason that actually did the trick, about everything scrolls smoothly now. At least the nasty samsung scrolling (with annoying ticking sound) is gone, yay!

edit: And yes, scrolling honeycomb works, but only after I disabled ftouchsl again. In options I enabled scrolling and kinetic scrolling. But then I disabled FTouchSL (enable -> no). That seems to work.

And indeed, can someone tell how to add images when using the CHome configurator?

I've editted the CLinks and am using that as an application launcher now. Using the template already available in CHome config. I also select an image via the image selector.

All the pages show up correctly and work except one thing: no image!

So, who knows how to add those pictures there and make us happy? :excl:

Hummm little error iv found on mine on titanuim go to a panel that you can slide with calander, music, photos etc, if you look at the top half of the screen you can see two little arrows pointing to both the left and right hand of the screen < like this > . Not really matching up with the panels your currently sliding though any one else having this problem and idea of a fix, not really a problem just rather it match  :excl:

EDIT: after soft reset it seems of gone back to normal :excl:

have you tried looking in the registry??

if you goto HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Chome

There are lots of things to check...:excl:

I havent tried to add panels or anything..no time really. If you fix it, let us know so we can follow your steps...:excl:

Only thing i can find is that if you go in to

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Chome\Then you added panel, then you added page theres a PICTURES reg

EG: \windows\start_icon/-fileExp.png 

so it seems that the picture is linked its just not being picked up i'll try moving it around to a diffent folder so if it makes any diffence

look at another working panel...see where it picks up its files from and then mimic it..:excl:

it should work, but might not, some things just dont happen, some do...

I did look in the registry. But not too much there I could use. I'm sure the solution is in there somewhere, but I wasn't able to find it just yet.

Also copy/pasted some registry items from other panels that have a working picture in them (e.g. the opera one), but that didn't do the trick here.

Back to fiddling some more then :excl:

Well here goes 

about the pics in custom panels it seems when you add a panel with CHome customizer

it adds 

picture string value with the picture you selected while you where creating the new panel

in actual fact i belive this is wrong

i think you need to create a string value called 

ICONPATH

then the location of the file im still playing with it so will update you
