:excl: Right... right... Yeah I did that under LocName and it wasn't changing it. Maybe I'm retarded that is always possible. Also I tried the scrolling fix and it didn't work, I'm trying a soft reset right now and will let you know.

Edit... Soft reset did do the trick. I say hell's yeah on a K1a, what says you sector. :excl:

wow.. i get off here for a little while and there's so much new stuff to try out!! awesome work guys. I wish i was a wiz brain coder like u peps. just a question about the samsung volume.. i was embarrassed the other day at work when my phone rang while i was not at my desk. i had set my volume to very low and assumed this would also tone down my tones, but the ringtone played full volume.. then i turned all volume to 0 and when phone rang again.. was full volume.. so i have to have it on vibrate or mute.. anyone else have this issue? it seems only the ringtone is not changed as when i got a reminder it was fairly quiet..

Is the K1 version the newest one? There are so many roms on the first page and it makes me wonder what rom is the newest one.

Im using the Rom that was on my Samsung Omnia i900 when i got it, the version is called XBHJ1 , is it possible to install the K1 version on my Omnia even if i use XBHJ1 ??? Lets say i got a new rom, if i hard reset do i get my old rom back?

If i install K1 will my Omnia perform faster? right now i´m using Mobile Shell 3 and it seems a bit laggy/slow... AND my omnia keeps freezing and it shuts down itself !!!! its extremly annoying....

Im a noob as you see hehe :excl: ...

it will run faster.. newer prgms and versions of software than original.. i'm pretty sure K1 is only pda version.. so phone version on your samsung will remain the same.. the newest one always goes to the top of the list and then the changes are put under so u can check the differences between builds..

K1 is the latest, hence, the request for a newer K1a :excl:

I am using K1 and it is working fine with spb mobile shell 3.. smooth as silk..

nope, but i should've told u that im not using sector's ROM right now...... im on khuanchai's 3-in-1 and it dose not have the big SS volume control at all......but the problem u r facing dose not happen to everyone here, dose it?

anyone else having a volume issue.. note u will only notice if u have to turn down yr volume.. also i got a request sector.. can u get the video calling working?

Sector won't be removing the alignment screen on startup, there are to many variables involved and may cause problems in some people's phone.  It's actually best to align the screen yourself.

Also... Lancez what was sector talking about copying the cprs in /My Storage

he meant, u have to copy the .cpr files to My Storage first, then copy/overwrite them under /windows......need to have total commend or resco explore, sonething like that, but for the .cpr files, i have a simple trick.....just rename them, u can add "1" in the front then copy them into /windows then rename them back (delete the "1"), and soft reset....u r done

is it just me or all, i seems to have this problem of when i go into inbox, sometime i click the middle of the square button between answer call and cancel call, it doesnt work at time.. 2nd problem/ symptom is that sometime in inbox, even with not alot of messages in it.. it take ages to load to open the inbox

and other problem includes sometime theres absolutely no response at all from the phone it hangs..

so far i experience this in 21500 and 21210..

any help?

Hi Sector

I am currently using your 21210 build and it is very nice, and very stable. The only glitch has been with the unlock button which doesn't seem to be recognising the incomming alerts (ie the new email notification will appear on the task bar and on Titanium - but not on the unlock button).

Is just a problem with my phone or are others experiencing this as well?

Mate, just curious about which 6.5 rom to stick onto my omnia. I am curently using DXIA5 rom from Taril and I like this rom very much; So i was wondering if there is a rom like this with wm6.5???? I dont really need (i think) spb mobile shell or manilla.....

I really need my phone for work so I need things to be stable, especially if there essential items (phone dialer, BT, Wireless, camera, browser).........I know that it is a work in progress thing..... :excl:

it would save u some explainations at service center if u can down grade to an official ROM, most likely they will void ur warranty if they found out that u have flashed an unoffcial ROM........thats how it works in the states........
