Guest a_bleem_user Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 I'm trying to hide my SIM contacts using the following regedit: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Phone] "ShowSIM"=dword ->0 to disable, 1 to enable. When I do that change, it works fine until I restart my phone then it reverts back to the default 1 setting (when I click on Contacts, I get the busy Windows spinning icon and then the SIM contacts show again!) Guest a_bleem_user Posted March 3, 2009 Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 Please ignore initial request - noticed thats its a known "problem" and can be rectified using a 3rd party cab plugin (which I don't want). It is prob there for regulatory reasons -> access to the Emergency numbers (000, 112, etc..) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
