Guest holdz Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 Thanks for this. I'm hoping I can upgrade my Vodafone branded Omnia to this. Just a quick question before I update, If I update to this version, is it easy to then update to an official rom, if a newer rom is released or will I need to update to another custom rom?

Guest OUT24Q Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 (edited) I've tried to download this ROM to my i900/DXIA5/SHKv5L Omnia, but always get "cFile.Open Failed" after I click on the start button. I installed Shokka9's ROM no problem! Any Ideas? BTW, using Optus in Australia. Cheers MILO Edited May 3, 2009 by OUT24Q
Guest gwmr Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 XRAY, I updated my ROM with your 165mb version, but I can't get my 3g working. I have a i900, brazilian operator Vivo. Do you have any idea of what else I could do to fix it? The phone loses much of its appeal without the 3G connection. I have changes the phone to Singapore and then to Phillipines, and reinstalled your rom multiples times, hard reseted multiple times and nothing seems to work. Sometimes the phone will show the 3G sign, meaning it is in an area wit 3G coverage, but won't connect. Thanks in advance, Guilherme Hi bros I upload the file : http://depositfiles.com/en/files/179vipwoj can any one upload to another mirror :D

You couldn't upgrade with a FULL Original ROM, only with PDA/CSC part. But the solution is downgrade only your PHONE (RADIO) part (with the Brazilian PHONE.bin part), see this THEREAD: http://www.modaco.com/content-page/277346/...n-rom/page/240/ Good Luck XRAY MAN, Could you make a Original ROM without region check and without PHONE (RADIO) part? It will be perfect for Brazilian users. Thank you very much.
Guest gwmr Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Parrillo, thanks for your tip. I flashed the phone.bin from the i900l you suggested and now I have a phone with a PDA: DXIA5 and phone: LUPHJ2. It shows the 3G signal all the time but still doesn't connect, saying that I have incorrect settings.... It has happened before, and the settings are correct. And what's worst, now it doesn't connect on the Edge network. Any help? Tks Hi Guilherme, I'm new too, and I have a I900L (Brazilian Omnia). Guest banistersmind Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 This is only really applicable to Australiain Omnia owners. Having been burnt by last attempt at self upgrading my Omnia's FW I just dropped my phone into the Samsung SC here in Adelaide this morning because I heard a whisper that there was a new FW available for Australian Omnias. Indeed there is – it was released on Friday last week and it is the following PDA i900DF1C1 Phone i900XXIB2 Can't get anymore information about it in terms of what improvements there are but I am hoping that there may be improvements to battery life and Wifi performance. Has anyone got this FW and what improvements have they noted on previous versions? This question has been asked lots of times but doesn't get much of an answer. Why oh Why is there no support for Vista with these flashing programmes???
Guest larnaca Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 I would like to ask you how is the memory increased? I often see pictures in your threads that the memory is increase to 120 or 134MB
