Guest ginnermark Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I trapped it in a slamming car door last night :( and now it's all white with that familiar broken-LCD black splodge across the top. It's covered in my home contents policy (excess £50) but not with a specific handset policy thru the network (T-Mob) - where's the best place to get it fixed? I know CPW have Express Repairs centres - are they any good? TIA

Guest Monkeyturnip Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 Ebay, its easy to do and cheaper. ive just done the same, ordered a screen from this ebay shop http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/ECPhone__W0Q...p;submit=Search total is £34.16 when you add in shipping insurance, they told me it would be sent out in 48 hours business post from Hong Kong and it comes with all the toolsto do the job (bloody handy for other stuff that needs to come apart too) and then with this guide http://bignfg.blu.livefilestore.com/y1pUz4...er.pdf?download it seems all so simple, but i have taken alot of things apart before, hopefully my screen will turn up tomorrow, and i dont think the 3-5 hours to do the job is accurate, but we will see, looks like i'll have an extended luch break if it is <_<
