Guest Xanthou Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 It used to happen to me every time i uninstalled SRS WOW HD (back in the days when it didn't work). After a while, the phone just wouldn't make any sound. If I restarted it, the sound would come back, but soon after, it would be gone again. The only permanent fix was a hard reset (or a ROM flash in most cases). However, ever since using Sector's WOWHD, this hasn't happened to me once, so my guess is that it was something left behind the old SRS drivers. (I'm currently on dddrko's 23031, but I used 23007 for a long time with SRS and I never ever lost sound). hello my friend, please help me can you sent me this so call Sector's WOWHDto install it on my omnia to get it to work.i have no sound and i can't hear the voice through a call i am making.just bought it used. pleaseeeee

Guest hasnainhyder1 Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) I guess I have cracked the nut for Omnia ! forget changing ROMs. Now how to solve it? I didn't wanted to open my Omnia so I did some external experiments with it... Seems like the area of back where the sim card lies needs to be pressed a bit (applied pressure to).. Then the sound appears... If you want to try it then play a song, take off the back, and press the area of the sim card or any nearby region... Your sound will fade and amplify etc.. What I did was to cut a small piece of paper and put it on the sim cars and then closed the back ! It works like a charm ! Try and reply if it works... Edited March 12, 2010 by hasnainhyder1
