Downloading PHONE... Switch USB to Phone Success... Error! PhoneUSB Detect Failed Port Create retry (20) Port Create retry (19) Port Create retry (18) ... Port Create retry (1) Port Create retry (0) He turn back on the phone and now has this rom PDA: i900DXIA2/OMNIA PHONE: i900XXHI5 He is trying to update with the DXIA5 or DZIA5 without success The famous message again INCORRECT SOFTWARE VERSION He tried change to Sinagpure, malysia, Philipines, UK and more and no success What else he can do? Guest Stevenh Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 If he REALLY wants to try, he can use Grand Prix to flash his phone, it won't care about the version stuff. He just needs to either download a kitchen to extract the various parts out of the updater or download the parts somewhere... Alternatively, flash with one of the custom ROMs. There is also an IB1 phone ROM link somewhere which he could use Grand Prix with and just flash to phone section, that is what I'm using at the moment. Make sure the samsung modem drivers are installed and do the flashing process again. The reason why it didn't flash succesfully is because the updater is looking for samsung drivers and says it fails before finishing the search. This only occurs when flashing for the first time. As you can see in the versions, the PDA part of the phone was successfully updated, but the phone part didn't. Flash again with the same updater and you'll see that it's gonna work now. I updated only this file. other ways was doesnt worked... Just run... Follow directions... * I used in XP. maybe work on vista * Use it your own risk...
