Hi slayer03,

That will not work for your search for wm6.1 as 21725 is also wm6.5. (but I think you know that.)

21725 and others are the core build numbers from Microsoft.

Since just before 21200 (don't remember the exact number) Microsoft changed from Windows Mobile 6.1 to 6.5.

You can understand how Microsoft would not go back to 6.1 after many releases/works of wm6.5. This is what the cooks start with.

You need to get a old cooked rom to get wm6.1. Maybe these will help:

The title of socks thread in this sub-forum says wm6.1. You might try there.

You might also check the Samsung site for the "official" rom. It might still be at wm6.1.

The first post of secany's thread looks like it has old roms you can get.

shokka9 was also cooking wm6.1 roms if you can find his thread.

I know i have to do a hard reset,but the manual hard reset does not work,the press soft reset and then press immediately call and end button....nothing FCKn HAPPENS,just goes straight to the alignment screen SHT SCREEN.....WTF!!!!

Thx for your FW is cool but i have one serious problem soon as i start to play mp3 with the CorePlayer (latest version) and i lock my keyboard music is jumping (like on cd when is no antishock) its each 20-40sec, no idea what is it...when is phone not locked and just playing i dont have this problem.

I have this FW Omnia 4-in-1 ROM build 21215 it was even on lite version.

Any idea what to do? thx

PLS HELP!

I installed khuanchai rom the last one from the list,all went well int the installation process,flashed it ok,and then jobs done right,disconnected the cable,it reboots,then starting windows mobile screen with sector&khuanchai name on it,then tap screen alignment thingy,then setups/configs....then sima card thingy,then automatic config in seconds message appeared,then it installs something up to the 3rd file spconfig.txt i think,then the reset device happens....THIS HAPPENS OVER AND OVER AGAIN....dont know why and it just does this......HELP ANYONE?

I had the same problem with WMP - do you have lock on resume from standby enabled? that was my issue - disabled it and it will not skip anymore

KC im with you rom from 30th may and i have one problem with sms notifications.If i set to vibrate with a ring tone,the first time i get a message its ok but when i get another message the phone only vivrate and doesnt stop it keeps vibrating.The only way to stop is to go to notifications and uncheck vibration for sms.

Edit: i put a shorter ring tone and it seems that i dont have that problem with vibration

Go to Menu>Tools>Preferences>Select Page>Advanced then check Higher priority music playback

I really have no idea since most people don't have the same problem. For the blank SMS/E-mail, I never had problem and I believe this could be from locale or language settings. Hope others could help.

Anyway, I read all comments and feedbacks. The next ROM's should be better.

just a thought chief.. after all this bunches of releases i guess we finally had what w6.5 functionality would have. isnt it? so boring now when some leak builds came from time to time and we got the same old wm 6.5 functionality.yeah its more stable there.. stable here... dont get me wrong to this. since i was a no. 1 flasher-addict here in our country i guess.. since majority of omnia user here doesn't know that there is sweet behind samsung 6.5 flashing.. some people here will just sold their omnia when they used it in a month or 2.. since they got bored about it.yeah because they havent got a chance to browse on modaco or dont know the word rom.

my point is... what else should we get from the upcoming leak builds? does samsung have stopped releasing their new omnia features or what.. they kept on releasing phone with the same old functionality widgets effects whatsoever.. no matter what i say this statement is nothing.. still im bound to flash and flash and flash my phone when there's a new build.. i've seen some leaked offcial wm 6.5 rom way back..and it has a message counter on the start menu... why dont we had this feature since we got the leaked? is this leaked is really leaked? or MS intentionaly leaked this for us guys to be testers. and gave some portions to test with? maybe more of us are ready to taste wm7..

if bill gates is listening.. is this not enough that our bloodlines flows your creation.. we want more.. i guess its time to give us something.. specially to those guys gave their time to cook roms for your wm OS... cmmon.. we thrist for more.. all people die.. atleast we got the most of you guys.. :)

Mostly agree with your thought. That's why I try not to jump to a new ROM very quickly. I try to wait to see any problems from other threads and also from testing by myself. Anyway, from some errors/problems/comments on previous builds, it usually needs some minor fixes and I may release a new build to fix them even though there is not much gain from moving to a new build. I think most of us can skip the minor upgrade if satisfied by the previous build.

Also similar for SmartReader. But it complains about DioOCR not there or no certificate.

Too bad. I liked using both of them a little back when they worked. :)
