A few issues...

The m2d does come and go and you get a blank today screen but that may be a m2d issue since I had the same thing in build 21222. Perhaps a newer m2d would fix that?

Ive just loaded up your latest 3 in 1 ROM, 21725, but touchflo keeps dissappearing, and sometimes when im in the middle of doing something, the phone will just go back to a blank today screen. Touchflo does eventually come back on, but it doesnt say "Tap here to launch touchflo" or "Launching touchflo" it will just appear again.

If it helps i did notice that if you go into today settins whilst touchflo is missing, then the box is unticked... If you wait on the today screen it does re-tick itself, but this is really annoying and seems to happen every couple of minutes!

A minor thing, when S2U2 is on when you recieve a text, in this ROM version, i cant slide the bar to unlock across the bottom of the screen as when i press, keys of my keyboard appear from the text reply behind, as you press the screen, a letter key will briefly show up then vanish again. The only way around this is not to have a text open when it locks, but this is not really a fix!

Other than that, this rom seems to run a lot smoother on my omnia than previous roms, less hangs on texting etc..

EDIT: OH!! and for the firs time EVER on my omnia, it syncs with vista/outlook!! All my contacts and calinder appointments now actually transfer, so i dont know what you did, but a MASSIVE thankyou for that!!

Other little things:

1) M2D occasionally becomes very slow, usually stopping completely for up to a minute before suddenly starting to work again (different problem to it completely disappearing).

2)Sometimes when i reply to a text and my keyboard pops up, it pops straight down again. If i click it up, it will pop up and down again. It will only stay up if i manage to hit a number (which enters it into the text entry) before it pops down again.

3)S2U2 sometimes stops working alltogether! This didnt happen in previous ROMS

4) Sometimes when running programs from the M2D programs tab, you have to click the program twice before it runs, on the first click the screen just flashes for a second.

5) Even when i have full signal, text messages dont come though, then 10 minutes later they will all come through in the wrong order, but with the correct times. For example i should have recieved a text at 21:01 and 21:03 and 21:06 then suddenly at 21:15 il get a text that was sent at 21:15 and then suddenly the above come through... 21:03 21:01 21:06 (with the correct time).

6)Samsung keyboards still dont work in opera. (this isnt important now though with skyfire 1 :) )

no notifications when i get a new SMS "text" message, only when i open messaging i see new messages.

Threaded sms's not working as well tried favorite hacks disable the SR enable then SR no luck same with advanced config wizard.

when i enable the samsund dialer skin and i enter a phone number the number display area is blacked out and does not show a number could this be from the pureblack theme?

These could all be specific to me, my device and the programs that i installed afterwards if anyone has fixes let me know.

EDIT: I have completely forgotten how to set it so you can delete files from \device\windows using your PC, i keep getting the permissions error, someone please remind me! :D Thanks :P

EDIT: I do have the problem with the samsung dialer, you cant see the text.

hey KC, been using your rom for awhile. Must say it was because of your rom which made decides to keep my omnia. Was a dopod/HTC user before getting the omnia which made me unable to get used to omnia's original interface. Keep up to great work!

Glad to hear that my ROM can keep you using omnia. In fact, it's one of the best WM phone in the market.

btw, i have tried the volume changer (the full version which can also be activated by clicking on the title bar speaker), the changer will only be activated on today screen. on today screen clicking on the speaker will activate the windows default volume changer.

After installing the newest Lite firmware, bubble breaker doesn't work. The errors:

This is by no means a showstopper, I just thought I'd point it out :)

It should work but 21210 is quite old. Do you want to try the new 21725 or 21728?

dlls are for camera settings but exe needs hex edited for file format. If someone has this G4 camera.exe hex-edited, please give me link.

This might be off topic but is there a way to lessen the jpeg compression (add a super high quality setting probably or a no compression setting) on the photos taken by the omnia's camera? This will probably result to bigger files but better quality of photos.

Now, here's an odd one. I am using DXID1/21222.5.0.0, 3-in-1. Yesterday, I decided to upgrade Resco Keyboard from 5.1 to 5.2. When I re-boot and go through the lock screen, the device spends a few seconds starting then freezes. If at the lock screen, I choose to open with the contacts or messaging tab, the device boots correctly. i have removed Resco Keyboard and the device boots normally. The previous version of Resco keyboard worked without problems. Any ideas?

I don't know either. :) Just heard that it helps to fix GPS more quickly. It doesn't seem to improve picture quality. Pako's camera.exe doesn't do that as well. It just make the program to save picture as DDMMYY date format.

I decide to go back to pako's camera.exe with dll change in the next ROM.

pako's camera.exe is enough. The dlls may have been changed but many have reported that there is no appreciable change in the photos. I too notice nothing different in the quality of pics I have taken.

pako's camera.exe does not require the use of his dll modification.

The g4 camera.exe would be a better choice if pako could fix it to yymmdd saving format like he did for the later one. But he says he is busy so...

hello everyone, after registering here sometime ago i found about the samsung omnia roms... because of that i just bought an omnia phone to replace my qtek 9090 lol. i'm used to windows mobile systems and installing and removing software, but a full flash i have never done...also this is my first samsung phone. while the flashing process seems fairly simple, there are so many roms i don't know exactly where to start. from what i've been reading and seeing Khuanchai rom seems one of the best, so i'm thinking on flashing it. my current omnia version is XXMSHG1 can i update from this version without problems? also can someone that has tried lots of roms please tell me the major differences between cooks? thanks a lot and sorry for all the noob questions...
