1. it is the new battery icon WITH the percentage showing up to 1%.u'll know when the battery power level drops to less then 100%

2. check Chokia's excellent post in this very thread.......i believe its about 20-25 pages back

3. changing themes for M2D works fine here, using 21806 ultralite pp12........ if u r having problems with it, details plz, so ppl can help u out

For 1., I understand it's suppose to be the numbers, but there are no longer numbers, but rather just a green bar. How do I change this??

As for number 3, when I change the theme, it works but as i scroll along the bottom, it freezes when I come to the email tab.

Note that I am using 21806 lite rom and installed M2D seperately.

tried with alot of formats but the day characters are too long (wednesday) = 9 the last character always covers the first number , if some how there was a way to add space between them in the registry editer or some other way ?????

u can also edit registery for that, HKLM>nls>overrides>SSDta, u can change it whatever u want.

Yes I did. I want to try to apply a theme..but im afraid that itll mess up my current M2D configuration. I don't feel like messing with it again.

u can use M2DC's restore option to backup ur current theme and settings, then install another theme.......u can get default theme back whenever u want, works for me.......but it'll take up at least 10MB on ur main memory.

P.S. when u install new M2D theme, make sure that u keep the original weather settings and icons

I expect this is a really dumb question but in Chokia's guide, reference is made to the registry for the setting up of the Omnia for stereo B/T headphones. The registry script is:

HKLM\\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd

"OutputDevice"="bta2dp.dll"

"Dll"="R2VS_ARM_WM5_PPC_Driver.dll"

I only have registry entries beginning "HKEY". Is the HKLM a completely new set of entries that I need to add or am I missing something!! :D

Oh dont forget to SAVE to each settings

Hi, I hope that anyone can help my with my problems. First of all is that i'm from spain and my phone operator is simyo (a virtual operator) When I flash the Omnia I must configure the 3G conection and the MMS settings, it works fine but in one or 2 days I see in the screen this message "a new sim has been detected" it ask me if I want to configure whit the operator settigs I say yes and it delete my 3G configuration and create one that's it´s called KPN Red that don't work. Anyone know how I can do in the omnia to fix it and make it don't detect my sim?

Other question. This week I'm outside of spain. My time zone is GMT +1, now i'm in the Canary Islands and here the time zone is GMT i change it in the omnia in the clok i set visiting and timezone GMT casablanca, but after a few minutes it automatically set again my timezone to GMT +1, any idea of how fix it?

And the last question: I use the Samsum Clock (tclock.exe) it's anyway to modify the WM 6.5 panels for when I press the panel of date and time it open the Samsum Clock?, actually it open the WM clock and I don't like it.

Go to operator settings and change to vodafone...wait 30 seconds ...and change to simyo...if this doesn´t work...make a copy of your simcard...and also call to Symio..maybe they have to activate to you something...i had to do it with vodafone....

If you don´t like the wm clock maybe you have to consider to change the wm dialpad to samsung dialpad...if you have included in your rom the favourite hackings you can do it easily...if not ...downloaded it and try...

For the time of the handy....i think that the only solution is to configurate in settings ...london...and manual...not automatic...i think you have configurated you regional settings in Spain...but Samsung hasn´t considered that in Spain there are two time areas so automaticly your omnia becomes like in Madrid....

After flashing...let it automaticly configurate the time and date anf after make the settings of your area.. manual...

I hope this helps to you...

Got the new ROM flash to my omnia. All seem to be running ok. Was panicking for a second or 2 when the device kept resetting during the auto install of the cab files. And when i had to configure the touch panel 3 time after the reboots, but all seems good so far. Many thanks to you Khuanchai for this update. Will keep you posted if i find any bug or issues.

why I have some errors when I think I found the best rom

I have tried ultra lite 21806 rom, unfortunately I have had these errors

I installed stream player and smartreader

I think the problem is either the rom doesn't have some files or cab packages don't have some files

I thought i might try to help with your question.

1. As far as i know the mouse point still isn't working with 6.5, hence left out. I'm sure i saw something about on the known bug list on the first page.

2. Check with the titanium weather app and make sure its not set to auto update (you can edit the update intervals and time). This is something that will cause the data to reconnect each time.

3. I was able to get the Weather to recognise Brisbane on the previous ROM still yet to set up on the current one as i have no use for the weather app.

To set up the weather select the widget. Press menu (should be the right soft key) Goto Option 3 Forecast Option/setup then option 1 just type in Melbourne and hopefully it will locate it for you.

Yep, did all that. Still no sign of an HKLM Registry key to change the Bluetooth Headset settings per Chokia's post. Also can't change the speaker settings as they are greyed out! :D
