by the way, titanium weather worked for me, but i was not able to use it because the city i lived in is not included... :D i would like to uninstall it, but i cant find it in the "remove program" list.

i think accureweather has been down

mine got such problem too.. should be problem with their server .. maybe they modified some links or layout

P.D.:Last night...the icons of the accuweather become wrong ...i thought it was me and today in the morning...hard reset ;) ...this happened for not asking..

.At the end ...is this a problem from the rom...or is some problem in accuwather.com?¿..

The last question...:in windows...startup menu..programs...with resco explorer i have deleted...made folders...for organizing the programs that appear in the startup menu using the program Restart also...will this affect to any programs installed?¿?...

Why after moving o deleting the file voice speed dial this program always appear in the startuo menu?¿?it looks like that after soft reset automaticly

the file is created...is there any way of changing this?¿?

All of this is just for personalizing a little bit more my omnia...

no... i think this is not ROM bugs.. coz yesterday titanium weather works fine..

i think about files in startup folder will have efect to program inside... example s2u, clear temp will not work when u reboot ur omnia (IMHO) :D

Well, I promise to report back to Khuanchai after flashing and testing. So I posting this for everybody benefit as well.

1. The flash went smoothly.

2. Hard reset twice, I kinda get into this habit after so many flashing.

3. Prior to installing any application I tested all phone functionality.

a. Phone ok (incoming and outgoing)

b. SMS ok (incoming and outgoing)

c. Taking picture also much better that the prev ROM.

d. Other Omnia function also show no sign of problem. :D pheeuuuwwww

4. Install fav tools (SKTools, Spb Backup) no problem. installation smooth.

a. SKTools still show a few cleaning needed. lnk file and rubbish registry entries. Cleaning went ok. lnk persistance.

b. Ran full spb backup to get base configuration. If i screwed up I can alway revert to this backup without hardreset.

c. Ran spb restore from prev ROM to get back all of my PIMs, Apps, and customisation. Opps... it scambled the titanium... :D

d. Run titanium fex.. ;) at least some good news.

e. Wow actually successfully flash and restore backup.

5. Now try to sync.

a. Old setup not recognised. Configure new sync. Sync went smoothly. :D

b. Everything is good so far.

6. Trying the apps (my Fav)

a. GarminXT works. Actually get decent fix time from sats.

b. Spam alert works. Disable a bunch of stuff to see default WinMo 6.5 lockscreen in action. like it.

c. Facebook works. :D

d. Resco Keyboard works.

e. Thumbcal works.

7. Try Internet Explorer. At the address field there is two buttons (go and cancel) badly arranged. ;) see image

8. Install Opera 9.7B. Test Turbo wow super fast.

Verdict: Much better ROM I love it... Responsive ad fast. Great Job Khuanchai...

One thing I notice though there is no tools to change operator. Like most ROM. hmm I don't remember when is the last time I saw this tool on Khuanchai ROM ;).

So, MMS (to tell you the truth I have not test this. I will register for MMS service and try it tomorrow. At least now I have the reason to upgrade my carrier service. :D

EDIT: Wow... My carrier allow to upgrade to MMS just by sending MMS On and now I can MMS to my heart content.. ha ha ha. MMS works like a charm with the ROM (read signature)

I have tested your ROM, and i Love It!!

BUT, I have post that I can't use Calligrapher Write Anywhere, I have also tested the QBus ROM, and Write Anywhere work just fine...It won't hang...

It's posible that some registry or application is conflicting with it? Can you review this litle bug?

I'm using the 21812 ROM, and the problem occurs when I write something (for example SMS Destiny), and later when I go to the Content of the Message, It Hang the Mobile!

The only problem i encountered here is the WINDOWS MOBILE DEVICE CENTER does not work.. my laptop keeps on hanging everytime i plug the usb in like 3 out of 5 times, and the WINMO device center does not connect with the unit. Im on windows vista. I also tried it on my winxp laptop and it work flawlessly. Any suggestion here? thanks.

I tried your previous rom and it work perfectly, just this rom im having problems. well not complaining here, just wanted to share what i encountered :D anyhelp would really be great. thanks.

I am on vista and activesync as well as exchange mail works perfectly for me. maybe you have to hard reset a few times as well as delete any existing active sync accounts

hey jinx, maybe you have to reinstall the samsung drivers/software on your vista machine: i have both, and I only flash with xp, so vista has not "seen" my omnia for a while and the last time I plugged it in to transfer some data, it reinstalled the samsung drivers/softwares and then told me that my device was ready to use, and the Mobile device center opened itself as usual. I would say it's vista related, it doesn't matter that you run khuanchai or sector's roms (the 2 I flash and use on a regular basis), IMHO.

I don't have this problem with the Ultralite 12MB pp 21812, but you can try this:

1. hard reset 2 times

2. flash again

3. hard reset 2 times.

This is what I do when a rom doesn't work properly for me and it does for almost everybody

Using the latest 21812 lite 12mb pp - is anyone else having problems viewing pictures taken with the camera? They appear in file explorer but none of the media apps open the files - unrecognised format... might be a bad flash, but i thought i would check if anyone else has this problem first... thx

I don't have this issue... maybe you're right, you should flash again, and don't forget to hard reset at least 1 time before and 1 time after flashing your phone, hope this helps...

Hi, pls anyone could help me. I flashed this 21812 & found very responsive & fast how ever the titaniumwhether.mscr keep on nagging. Does anyone having this problem.

I download sector titanium*.mscr fix and replace in windows folder but still no luck.

Titanium Weather Update fix

There was a change in accuweather.com that made the Titanium weather update failed since yesterday.

Thanks to sector for the fix. I just modify for correct display and correct folder for my customized ROM. This is for those who use my ROM and haven't fixed the problem. It won't work for other people's ROM.
