Guest gianton Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 I think this ROM is the best so far. Light and fast perfect for my needs, I like the improved finger friendly UI as well! Thanks for your hard work Khuanchai, small donation sent again (Confirmation number: 75028977X52563231).

Guest tingchung_chin Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Khuanchai, Thanks for the ROM. Has someone test it? Has the ie in the ROM been fixed? It is difficult to use ie when the stop, refresh and go button cannot be accessed. I can wait for this weekend to test it. :D Cheers... yes IE fixed! ;) :D :D

Guest gianton Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Hi, I'm having problems getting the Radio to work, has it been removed? is there any solution to this? Radio is working fine here. What sort of probs do you have? BTW welcome aboard m8.
Guest Shadowy Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 (edited) After using Sector's roms for a while I thought I'd give Khuanchai's a try. Everything seems to be working well. The only question I've got is this: I've got Route66 on my storage card which, whenever I've flashed before, installs automatically. With this rom I had to power off, remove the card, power on and off then replace the card before it would auto-install. Anyone any idea why? Thanks. Edited June 23, 2009 by Shadowy
Guest adasad Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Update: Omnia ROM base DXID1 build 21815 12 MB pagepool with BT-audio fix (22 June 2009) Friends, I'm still on a long journey but have made a new ROM during a scant free time. I have no time to make a thorough test but at least it works quite normally on a brief testing. This is the UltraLite ROM only. I try to make it as clean as possible so you will have to add anything on your own. (Note: I removed the 1% battery driver and SetVolume from this ROM.) Download here Enjoy! Very fast & good Job but i need msn money widget thank you

Download here Enjoy! hi khunchai.. thanks for updating the ROM... may i ask you what's new on this ROM... like sector did(update whats new) example - Updated all dpi96 to latest ones, now themes should work properly (at least for default WM) - Added NEW! MultiClock thanks to Genix for the great help on this. It looks similar to digitclock but it is not. Supports RSS, Appointments, Weather and code optimized better for CPU usage etc etc. When u get clock flickering goto Clockpanel-setttings and press "Refresh Chome". - Removed NetCF3.7 due to some apps incompatilities, added NetCF3.5. - Fixed FTouchSL not working. - Adjusted opera panel to work for newest opera version. - Fixed HTCAlbum in landscape. - Modified Pagepool size to 14mb. - Added latest TitaniumWeather 4.2 (radar support), thanks G ! - Fixed SMS/MMS problem. - Fixed Weather Location problem. - Fixed missing icon on system Titanium panel. - Fixed keyboard issues. - Fixed power off button conflict with honeycomb. - Removed JBed and added JBlend 3D. You shouldnt have any problems with sounds in java ( i hope). - Updated CHobit Smart lock to latest version. - Removed Opera, new version can be found as cab here: ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/winmobile/970b1/ and old one here: http://www.mediafire.com/?zoi4eunyj2w - More optimizations on registry. thanks
Guest acccc Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 (edited) Radio is working fine here. What sort of probs do you have? BTW welcome aboard m8. Guest gianton Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 is the keyboard problem fixed ? No but installing IME EzInput v1.5.32288.0 will fix it.
Guest mroshaw Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 This ROM has worked great for me - thank you! No problems at all to report! One thing I noticed is that my TomTom ONE now sees the Omnia as a wireless compatible GPRS device, via bluetooth. Is it the case that DUN is supported again in 6.5 or has this been cooked in? Can't actually get it to work yet - has anyone discovered this feature and managed to get TomTom services working? I'm struggling to acertain the manual settings for Vodafone UK (contract). The defaults below don't work: Access Point: internet User: web Password: web IP: Automatic DNS: Automatic Dial: *99# Login Script: at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internet",0,0 I'd LOVE to hear from anyone that has the Omnia speaking to a TomTom, using this ROM. Ta! mroshaw
Guest acccc Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 (edited) Hi, How can I enable haptic feedback, there doesn't seem to be an option? Edited June 23, 2009 by acccc
Guest ThisIsOliver Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 No but installing IME EzInput v1.5.32288.0 will fix it. Not tried it, though... most interestingly would be, to get the hands on the corresponding registry-entries, that lead to this mis-behaviour :D Cheers, Oliver.
