[ROM] Omnia WM 6.5.1 ROM base DXIF1 build 23081 with BT-audio fix (1 November 2009)

a very fast testing and review:-

1. Scrolling everything work fine and fast.

2. Install google map and try to lock GPS, LOCKED in less than 20seconds (i think KC had remove the old/new log value in registry and this is why i can't find any value inside there, good work!)

3.Wifi no problem like usual, IE connection also no problem (no Icon problem).

4.SRS WOW inside! Great and i dun need to insyall myself yahoooo...

5.Sync with cable and bluetooth work fine as usual.

6.All software installed works! (Google map, clean temp, Windows Msg, MDict, GarminXT, Samsung Clock, Samsung Panel with Chinese wordings, Showcase TaskBar, FavPeople, CLaucher, CHome, Finger Keyboard)

but there is 1 bug, i'm not sure, cos i used to have this is all my M2D problem, but totally not causing any issue :)

Nothing new on every version till now there is same glitch but its no big deal!

Downloading now and will test it. Small request to ask, is it possible to remove Samsung Task Switcher and include HTC Task Manager in a future release (It's really easire to use Task Manager).

call waiting work, but when i try to answer 2nd call and hold the 1st call, this ROM seem like no working, could be my mobile provider problem, but didn't encounter this in previous KC's ROM, any1?

I have unlocked my phone and flashed the rom but I am getting a message saying 'cannot complete call etc etc) and the call is dropped whener I try and dial out. Has anyone experienced similar probs.

Dear Master,

I have flashed to the latest UL Hybrid DXIF1 build 23016/2192 and try to install the Big Icon start menu cab. I found that the new start menu in this ROM does not support the Big Icon cab. Could you provide a newer one for this? Thank you very much.

KC... Thank you very much for your wonderful roms, I was one of the few who don't trust any non-official roms, but after a long self-discussion i decided to use one of your roms (The Ultralite 23004) and it was beautiful!

BUT! since i'm Arab and all my messeges are in arabic, is there a way to have them displayed right? currently they appear not connected and reversed ( for example and in english presentation only: Ahmadmr is shown r m d a m h A)

Sorry for my english.

It seems there's a problem with the usb driver on kuanchai's build (tried 23001 and 23016). I tried sectors rom and I never encountered problems like file loading, startup corruption, and rare freezes in activesync. This problem only emerge if I'm connected in activesync (I must say these things do not always happen but those instances only happens when Im in activesync). When I try to remove the usb the problems are gone. I already tried it on another PC and cable and it has the same problem.

Another effect of the usb problem is the internet sharing through usb. Once you get disconnected from the internet and tries to reconnect, the phone will connect to 3g but it wont resume reconnecting to your pc and the connect button will be disabled so I need to soft reset my device again.

Hopefully it's an isolated problem and kuanchai can give a fix without reflashing my device.

Here's the comm manager im using (htc scroll disabled)

Everything works except landscape finger scrolling. When I enable htcscroll my wifi menu gets disabled.

Maybe kuanchai or sector can fix it.

Thanks for the great rom. Tried so many custom roms and i still end up using yours.

Phone does not lag while playing mp3s and texting or running other applications at same time. Fast, stable just the way i like it!

Any1 have any idea how to make the auto "customization" works each times hard reset? like the 1 KC put in his ROM, after flash, it'll auto install the black theme and so on...

i feel like wanna make a files in My Storage and let it auto run after a soft reset and it'll auto install a list of avaible cabs that i have (like Google Map, Live Msg, finger friendly keyboard, clean temp, mdict, Fav people, and so on...), possible? sorry, i knew this is off topic and i'm not good in this, hope some1 willing to share.

EDITED: i think i found it, it's call SASHIMI, not sure why it's call like this, feel like it's a Japanese Sushi rather than a software name, hahahaha...

I do: proceed without the automatic settings search. You need the incoming and outgoing mail servers names. Google the name of your provider and pop3 smtp (for example "gmx pop3 smtp") and you'll get the pop3 incoming mail server name and the outgoing server name, assuming their pop mail. If IMAP, then google them with imap instead of pop3. You can follow this procedure

It worked for me for both Hotmail and GMX email accounts.

if you are using the default Today screen, you need to enable "or should i say select" the TouchFLO Today screen in your device... Click Start -> Settings -> Today -> Items tab -> select TouchFLO -> OK... done. :) cheers mate ;)

hmm.. actually before using 21928 build i just automatic seting and email works.. but not @21928 build :)
