Yes, I have read that issue some time ago. Although it's insteresting idea but I don't have enough time to test. It also needs to put many files/programs into My storage or Storage Card. This is for advanced users not for beginners.

Maybe I will try this if I have more free time. :)

This is for people who request a real UltraLite ROM without M2D.

Brief specifications:

- Omnia ROM base DXIF1

- ROM builds hybrid 23016/21928

- Shell and GUI from 21928, the rests from 23016

- HTC task manager

- Onenote removed

I've been using your rom (23001 3-in-1 8PP) for about a week, and it is AWESOME! I found a little bug in the CComm plugin: exactly in the Phone part, were - I don't know why - the script is always doesn't recognize if the phone is connected or disconnected from the cellular network, It always says "Turn on cellular radio"... So, I have modified the PHONESTATUS.MSCR a little bit to solve this problem and walla! It is working.

The modified file is attached to this reply for any one have the same problem... Move it to your phone then use Total Commander to overwrite the one in \Windows folder.

Thank you again... and waiting for new Roms!

You're right, it has already been reported in many threads.

@dimitris: if you install any of nicoxsri or grigoris_a taskbar, you will have the 1% battery without having to install zylonite.

Hi AhmadMR. Thanx for posting that script! I was having the same problem with the 23001 6mb pp rom. I am still having the same problem with the wifi icon next to the phone icon. The dialog box gets stuck at "connecting" and even though the adapter has connected to a network the icon does not change to its correct form. Got any ideas how to fix that or perhaps you could post another file that takes care of that as well? :)

First of all thanks for the great ROM. I'd love to go back in M2D when I flashed your latest lite M2D version. But there are two things that bothers me.

1. When I am using Nitrogen or Core Player to play mp3s then I key lock my phone, the playback becomes problematic - the song pauses for a split second and then resumes and it happens right every 2 to 5 secs. At first I encountered this one with sector's ROM but I didn't expect that I will get the same when I switched to your ROM. Is this a common problem with WM 6.5? Any idea how to fix this?

2. In M2D tabs, right when I press the email tab - TouchFLO will hang. I will need to restart TouchFLO to see it works again.

Excellent roms, always fast and smooth.

A question about the included version of Opera, previous versions had a setting to set whether the device was detected as handheld or desktop. This setting no longer exists under Advanced settings. Is there a way of setting this elsewhere as some sites return their mobile version?

Also, the setting to make Opera my default browser has gone. When I follow links from email IE is opened despite it not being my default browser. Any idea how I can make email use Opera please?

Hi,

I just installed new ROM base DXIF1 build 23016/21928 with BT-audio fix (2 August 2009) and now i have a problem. Before i had older rom from mr. K and allworked OK. When i lunch Garmin i get error: "Assert failed at PLM_string.cpp:650 in PocketNav with error 87" Any idea what is wrong? Is it posibile that there under regional settings i cant select slovenian language and thats why i get error?

Hi guys,

I've tried a few simple things but still cannot get my internet running. i suppose there is some fix i need to install or something. This is what i did:

1) Flash UL-M2D_IF1_23016-21928 6 MB pagepool ROM

2) Not install anything else

3) When operator settings pops up, i chose Starhub (which is incidentally my operation in Singapore)

4) Connect via wifi to my wireless router

5) Set Browser setting to "Automatic"

6) Open IE

7) Greeted with "Cannot Connect: The connection has been ended. To change your settings, tap Settings"

I notice that in the Settings>Connections>Connections, i do not have the option to manage existing connections (as if there are no connections available to edit). However, when i want to add my operator settings, I get the error message stating that the connection profile already exists.

I think Khuanchai's clean rom is the best rom and i hope to be able to use it the way it was meant to be. looking for help...

Now revert back to DXIA5 ROM. Wifi and GPRS works. Hop eot use the latest WM65 ROM with Titanium
