Hi guys,

I've tried a few simple things but still cannot get my internet running. i suppose there is some fix i need to install or something. This is what i did:

1) Flash UL-M2D_IF1_23016-21928 6 MB pagepool ROM

2) Not install anything else

3) When operator settings pops up, i chose Starhub (which is incidentally my operation in Singapore)

4) Connect via wifi to my wireless router

5) Set Browser setting to "Automatic"

6) Open IE

7) Greeted with "Cannot Connect: The connection has been ended. To change your settings, tap Settings"

I notice that in the Settings>Connections>Connections, i do not have the option to manage existing connections (as if there are no connections available to edit). However, when i want to add my operator settings, I get the error message stating that the connection profile already exists.

I think Khuanchai's clean rom is the best rom and i hope to be able to use it the way it was meant to be. looking for help...

Now revert back to DXIA5 ROM. Wifi and GPRS works. Hop eot use the latest WM65 ROM with Titanium

I used to face the same problem, I've tried by select another operator in operation setting and select back to my operator (DTAC in Thailand) and I've found it can help.

You can try by switch to another operator and switch back.

Hope it can help.

OK... I have finished modifying the WifiStatus.mscr, it was a long process, but I managed to correct it. the problem was in values that trigger the various parts of the script.

So... Here it is: the Modified WifiStatus.mscr in the attachments. Copy it to your storage, then use TotalCommander to move it to \Windows folder and overwrite the existing one.

23022 looks real promising:) I was wondering when Microsoft would jump on board the touch freindly band wagon.

Yes, I have read that issue some time ago. Although it's insteresting idea but I don't have enough time to test. It also needs to put many files/programs into My storage or Storage Card. This is for advanced users not for beginners.

Maybe I will try this if I have more free time. <_<

WinMo 6.5 build 23022 caught on video, in all its finger-friendly glory ---> see this links

http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/10/winmo-6...finger-friendl/

Looks pretty good.

I like the way all the softkeys are at the bottom like that. Any moving the "ok" button is a great move.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that when there is no "ok" button (like on the today screen for instance) the left softkey doesn't sit all the way to the left on the bar.

I guess I am just nitpicking now but it would be nice if they made sure to do a proper job of skinning 6.1 instead of a half ass attempt at looking like an iphone.

It is early though so maybe they will fix it.

sorry cant help you there. it just worked for me. could be a bug?

i hard reset, choose another operator initially (m1) then switched to my own operator (starhub) and it worked. wifi can work now too. I'm not sure why operator settings affect surfing with wifi (can connect to router but not surf). need the gurus to answer that one.

Ah ok... maybe that is what im doing wrong.... (I didn't hard reset).

Hard Reset will undo all other programs installed, right ? :)

I just lazy to set it all up again.. so for now i will stay on a different operator till the good guys have a new update again...

BTW : Many thanks to Khuanchai for the Rom. (let's have a beer if you're in Taiwan)

WANT!

Especially the magnified Taskbar at the top.

I think we should wait for more stable versions before trying that rom out.

All  roms are good here. thanks.

But I dont know whether anyone encounters a problem when you install ftouchsl.

In my omnia, after I installed ftouchsl and made a softreset, It couldnt enter WM, the screen turned black.

I think the reason is that KC used "ftouchsl.dll" as the driver. I try to slove it and succeed.

Here is my solution.

first change the ftouchsl.dll to touch.dll, modify the key HKLM/hardware/devicemap/touch/drivername, soft reset.

then copy a null file named "ftouchsl.dll" to replace the ftouchsl.dll in the /windows/  softreset

install ftouchsl.cab and softreset  and you can enjoy it now.

What's advantage of "ftouchsl.cab"?

U can scroll the notepad, word without the scrollbar. And U can setup your exclusion apps.

So here is a suggestion for KC: why not to include "ftouchsl" in your rom instead of just using the dll file?

sorry for my poor english, hope U can understand what I am writting  here.

I thought ftouchsl is not for free ...so ...it can´t be already in one rom...

23025 is out and Sector as well as dddrko will release a ROM with it. Have you tried it, is it OK to make ROM with this build?

Hi Master KC,

Have you tried 23025? Is it stable? If its not, i believe we won't mind waiting for a more stable version if you think its not worth cooking :)

Well, I think you can leave it unreg. and you dont need to buy it if you just use the scroll function.
