[ROM] Omnia WM 6.5.1 ROM base DXIF1 build 23081 with BT-audio fix (1 November 2009)

Just copy and overwrite all files in the HTC Task Manager Stop folder to \Windows, this will disable HTC Task Manager. Then install Showcase and soft reset.

It's the same bug in MS3 or Pointui. ;)

Thank you for all your work KC currently am using a rom from sector windows 6.5 with spb3 see your name on boot screen along with sector. I am currently needing to select a rom that has bt fix because of our new no cell while driving law here in Honolulu. I would like to have a similar rom that I am currently using with the BT fix. Can someone suggest which one? As on sectors thread I was directed here for the BT fix. TIA

depending on whether you use m2d or not, choose the latest rom. that is the best that I am used so far.

I cant see any diffrents to the 23025 Build in the GUI!? (Except the new Icons In the bigger Title-Bar)

Is it more Stable?

this is my first post. i picked up the omnia yestarday (traded my i8510, hoping it was a good deal)..

i flashed with one of the wm6.5 cooked roms.

the honey_comb.zip you provided looks amazing, much better than the style that came with the rom i installed..

problem is, when i try to copy the files into the windows folder it says theres some write-protect error or something..

is there any way around this? thanks!

i think u should place the ringtones in windows..rings folder

Managed to solved the ringtone issue. I convert the *.mp3 to *.wav and move to the correct folder and it works.

with the battery taskbar, my observation shows that if the battery is fully charged/100%, it display the battery icon. If less than 90%, it shows the percentage of the battery. This is great.

This is the best rom. However, it keeping up with the rom updates is a pain ...

With w6.5, can we customise the 'windows default' for this rom ?

hi, google and download Resco file explorer, it's free. Install the cab on your device memory, then run it, you will be able to overwrite the write-protected files.

This is for testing only. New ROM with new UI may not be very stable.
