[ROM] Omnia WM 6.5.1 ROM base DXIF1 build 23081 with BT-audio fix (1 November 2009)

Hey there, thanks for this AWESOME ROM! i'm new to ROM's and flashing things for the Omnia but i flashed my Omnia perfectly well (used to own an N95 so used to hack it a lot) and 3 times already.

I have one slight problem though which i can't find the answer to. I download and flashed this ROM:

UL-M2D_IF1_23016-21928 6 MB pagepool

It's very stable and fast and i'm glad i flashed to it. I have on slight problem though, my accelerometer does not work. It works when i choose it to automatically switch the screen into landscape mode etc but when i start a game, for example Resco Snake, i can't move the snake around in the game, meaning the g-sensor isn't working. Is there a work around to this or do i need another ROM? thanks again!

Finally I got a fix for video recording. Please use this ROM for testing instead of the one on 15 Aug 2009.

Brief Spec:

- DXIF1

- build 23028 with all new GUI and shell

- some mior bugs still

17 aug rom is superb. Touch is very good. As you stated some minor bugs --options can't work in input so i have to use omnia keyboard.It's ok since touch is good with vibration set on lowest. Shame ATcontacts panel still can't work.

For others info, double click and owner id works.

All in all a super effort.Thank you and best wishes.dave :D

Hi all,

I am getting the PhoneUSB Detect Failed error while upgrading the ROM. I have tried the samsung modem driver over and over again. Even formatted my windows laptop and tried again. I tried downloading an official ROM from the samsung website but it says Incorrect Software version. I cant change the version on my phone as the phone is in offline mode and will not come on. how do i know which official ROM to download. My S/N is R6WQ855603V. I had bought it from Bangkok.

Please HELP!!!

Hello everybody,

I have two problems regarding the latest ROM - 23028:

1. The volume control hard keys do not increase/decrease the volume. That is bad because it was very convenient to use them while on call

2. IGO8 sound is lost sometimes (it’s ok after phone restart)

Any comments?

First impressions:

1. Touch responsiveness is the best so far!

2. UI is great no need to use stylus anymore

3. Faster than previous builds

4. All my apps work OK as in previous builds

i've used 23028 for few days but i go back to hybrid ...

touch response is very bad in this build ... even if i use favourite hackings ....

owner info is missing ....

waiting for new build maybe bugs will be fixed .... :D

Try to uncheck "Automatic full screen" in Opera Mobile Settings/Display

EDIT: If this doesn't work rotate the screen and you're OK.

It works for me. :D

Hi KC,since i been using HTC's rom, my phone been stable so far and hence I do not wish to use back Microsoft 's rom. Can you update the new GUI and shell onto HTC's rom ? Will not flash back to Microsoft 's rom again. thanks

thats not duplicated..

3-in1 means that ROM consist manila 2D,titanium and samsung today CMIIW. try to read oldest build that consist 3-in1 ROM
