I am finding that the IE that's included in the new ROM is a bit more clunky than the one in the older hybrid ROM.

Is it a different build or part of WM6.5?

I guess what I really want to know is can I change back to the previous version?

i cant find any official roms for samsung in india. are they available?

or any other english [WWE] rom would work.

and finally what is the easy way to flash a rom[please explain]?

Ah, I see. That's part of the "as-plain-as-possible-looking" PureBlack2 theme that's part of Khuanchai's ROM.

The round buttons are actually bitmaps that are part of the theme, they can look different on every theme. I believe that when the bitmaps are left out, one ends up with just plain text. Or so. I'm no expert on creating WM6.5 themes.

Hi master K!

i'm from Potrugal and I've tested almost all of your roms. Congrats, they seem to me the most fast/stable. currently using "Omnia ROM base DXIF1 hybrid 23016/21928 UltraLite with BT-audio fix" and have a question.

I'm really a noob using gps, and so far i have never tried it on my omnia. Since i have that rom, i would like u to telm me the best way to use gps with it(I don't have route66 installed).

This version is with Windows Mobile 6.1

There´s no official ROM with Windows Mobile 6.5

The easy way to flash, there´s a lot of tutorial around this forum, but here we go...

First make a BACKUP of your entire phone and execute a HARDRESET.

After that follow bellow

1 - Works 100% in Windows XP SP2/SP3 32bit. NOT RECOMMENDED using Vista/Seven to Flash, or any other 64bit plataform

2 - Make sure you have Activie Sync v4.5 and Samsung drivers installed (if not, search in google to download and istall this first)

3 - Run the rom file: i900DXID1_sc.EXE

4 - Turn off the Phone

5 - Plug the Phone in USB Cable

6 - Turn on the Phone

7 - The Start button will be ready now. Click in Start Button and wait JOB Done message

i've tried to back read some pages from here but still can't find any solution to my problem, does anyone have the same issue? I diasbled the threaded SMS and everytime i click the message and replied, it hangs for 10 seconds or more.. so i can't type any messages. If any one could help really appreciated.

i have also posted this on sector's forum, hoping anyone could help me out. This issue is for the new GUI build.
