after flashing i didn't find my samsung part ! no samsung menu or today or style !

is it PDA part or Phone Part

or which is which !

is winmo6.5 is the PDA or the Phone ! and where did my samsung Software go !

u can install the samsung software back.. just search for whatever prgm u want through the forums.. winmo 6.5 is mostly custom, though u can most likely find roms with most of the original samsung stuff.. 4 example some of khunchai's roms have 3 in 1 today screens..

did anybody do benchmarking on 21851? I did with sktool on 23037 and found that almost every poin is lesser that using wm6.1. how if use 21851?

i assume u r talking about the thin start menu? u have to go back to winmo 6.1 in order to get the original start menu. If you mean the today screen as i said u can either install a rom with the touchwiz interface, or flash one of Khunchai's 3 in one roms, or i believe u can install the cab found on the first page of this forum..

First of all, thanx for your work and dedication, thanx to make our cell a great cell, finally!

You're right 21851 is a very good rom and really stable, I'm enjoying it.

But I have a problem:

When the phone is locked (6.5 lock) and I receive a call, "Speaker" "Volume" "Mute" "Unlock" and "Hold" button don't work at all.

Only the "End Call" (red one) is working.

Did someone notice it as well?

Any idea to fix it?

I'd like to use the Speaker button...

Hello.

Now I am trying "Omnia ROM base DXIF1 build 21851 UltraLite with BT-audio fix"

But I have a problem with the dialer. You can see it in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wf2YZO7sAc.

It only happens when I have the phone skin activated, I have more than 1000 contacts.

The truth is that's happens with all ROM 6.5 that I tested so far.

Anyone else happens?, Do you know what might be the solution?

Same prblm here. Just dun hide keypad den this wont happen, however only 2 line of contacts will be shown which is no good for 1000 contacts.

I think the prblm is due to conflict with the SIP, because if you type in an letter 1st before you hide the keypad, you will see the SIP in the background.

Im not keen on using third-party software to replace the dialpad too. So really hope someone can solve this issue too.

while using the internet explorer or opera browser with my omnia, letters are not appearing in the search engine (yahoo search engine) every time I key-in but the cursor is moving.

btw, i'm using the hybrid rom.. thank you.

like the official DXIA5 . Now I am using ROM 6.5 based on DXIF1 but it has

+1 for 21851 Very fast and stable on my i900 too.

Hi I have flashed my omnia with built 21851 last night and tested it all day today. It seems to be working fine and is very stable. So far so good. Very happy there. I absolutely love the btw voice dialing functionality that the "original" omnia lacks. The only issue that I have is the missing regional setting for Polish. Any expert out there know how to add this as a cab (most preferably) pls! Greate job Khuanchai!

Since no body do benchmarking, i just did it (with sktool) for 21851..

before i did for 230XX and found that it score 3 step behind omnia with wm6.1 (except for integer is better)

21851 WM6.1

Ram access: 903 868

Draw Bitmap: 1231 1440

Main Stroage Write: 2748.99 2493.51

Main Storage Read: 7680 6692.81

My Storage Write: 413.96 -

I think 21851 is faster than wm6.1..

It's actually a 6.5 shell but you can't freely move start menu icons. Bad news, can't make a functional hybrid. May have to go with that shell. :)

having issues with notifications.. i miss some alarms and reminders.. the phone pops them up, however no sound.. randomly happens..
