Guest GOOTHRIE Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Khaunchai, is there any way you can stick the latest M2D by sector in this build? Only that he believes that it can only work if it's cooked into a ROM??? Thanks! +1 :)
Guest 2001 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Hi Khaunchai, Many thanks for your latest ROM UL 23060. Like many others in this community I shall greatly miss all your hard work in creating some terrific ROMS which have greatly enhanced our Omnias in a way that has given many members great pleasure with the variety of GUI's that have made an otherwise modest PDA into a special one. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
Guest 2001 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 +1 :) Install all the cabs as per Sectors instructions. Make sure that you have the latest cabs and you will be able to enjoy the this version of M2D on Khaunchai's UL 23060. No problems.

I'll try this ROM 23060 tonight. I just flashed my phone last night with previous build 23053 and menu button is missing from SMS, there is not menu button but if you click on it it works and open the drop up menu to create a new message My best application for SMS http://www.o3touch.com/ doesn't work on the build, it gets installed but it doesn't launch. Any tweak to get it to work would be much apreciated :) SPB keyboard crashes when clicking on keyboard option button. The touch screen response is super

Guest skaynan Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Master K: Very sad do see you leave. You are the best! However... You said yourself that for your next Phone (Omnia 2, is it?) there are no Cooking SDKs at the moment (and these things take some time), so I would think it's safe to assume you won't be leaving us so soon after all. Thing is, Rom cooking is not a hobby, it's an addiction. You know this. So what are you going to do for the next 3-6 months until you can begin cooking for Omnia 2? I bet you'll be back cooking for us when you get the cold turkey... At least I hope you will. But even if you don't, just know that your work for all of us here is highly appreciated, and I thank you wholehartedly for helping me have a much better phone than I originaly thought. Cheers mate!

Agree that ROM cooking is addictive! :) Now I'm a bit frustrated living without my own ROM customization. :D Although I want to help but I'll be giving my Omnia to a friend today so I won't have it for testing. However, I may request someone here to test if there is any interesting ROM coming out.
Guest bobobird Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Welcome to the Omnia 2 club Khuanchai. I switched about 2 weeks ago - awesome phone. Just stepped back here to personally thank you for the time and effort you made to make our Omnias top class. Thank you.

Guest fattmatt Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Hey guys and gals, I think I need some help. I just installed 23060 and for some reason my phone is stuck in a loop... I get past the alignment, date, password, email, then I get to the auto customization and it installs all the stuff then hard resets and I come back to the orange splash screen before the alignment screen again. I had this problem with 23053 and it just came good so I forgot about it. Any ideas please people. Cheers, Matt.
Guest nikosxri Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 (edited) Khuanchai, In your next rom you can port the contact manager from 23420 which is very nice to the 23060! //http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho.....page=527 in post 5261 I dont know if this can be done without cooking.
