The first COM5 Build (23502) of Windows Mobile 6.5 has been leaked by Tom_Codon of HTCPedia.com. This latest COM5 build brings in some interesting new changes from the last COM4 (Build 23060) and COM3 (Build 23420) builds of Windows Mobile 6.5 that we covered. Here is what’s new in this COM5 Build 23502 in comparison with COM4 Build 23060 of Windows Mobile 6.5:

Changes in Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 23502 (COM5):

• Faster, stable and more responsive than any of the previously leaked COM3 and COM4 Builds.
  
• Bottom taskbar color is changed to Vista-like dark blue.
  
• Some GUI fixes for Volume Control.
  
• Graphically enhanced Scrollbars and checkboxes.
  
• Graphically enhanced buttons throughout the operating system.

Can someone please help i flashed my omnia with WM 6.5.1 ROM base DXIF1 build 23060 and it was all good but then i tried to flash it with WM 6.5.1 ROM base DXIF1 build 23071 with BT-audio fix (18 October 2009) and now my phone doesnt turn on the screen just stays black what do i do please help???????????????????????????????

hey I Successfully flashed my omnia i900 so far so good,

but somehow the touch response has worsened since 6.5 update I can’t type fast enough is there a way to fix this, I’ve already calibrated the screen many times but it didn’t fixed the problem…

I've also tried to edit the registry as you mentioned in your first post but somehow the filter key didn't show any values...

I hope you come up with a solution... :D

You can use VMWare to install through Windows 7. It works like a charm and its very easy.
