Guest juan martin Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 How can I send a e-mail to a Group of Contacts (Category). Every time i want to send an e-mail to a group of contacts I have to select each contact one by one instead of selecting a Group or Category. I have downloaded Resco Contact Manager 2nd Edition and theres an error while trying to send to a group. Intead of sending the e-mail to their mailbox direcction it tries to send it to their mobile phone number. I reported to Resco and they told me that they will fix this problem in the next version. If somebody knows how to send an e-mail to a group of contacts please let me know how. Thanks again

Guest ckaidi Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Hi guys, I am having the worst time trying to get a reliable MP3 player to work on my phone, I've installed S2P and it does not even open, nitrogen which opens for a while then I cannot use anymore, core player the same thing. I did a hard reset reinstalled and have the same problem, any ideas? Which build did you flash with? Im using build 21815 without any prblm with S2P. But somehow i use v0.58 which seemed to be lighter and works better for me.
Guest ckaidi Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 I've upgraded my Omnia with Omnia WM 6.5.1 ROM base DXIF1 build 23071 with BT-audio fix (18 October 2009) - flashed ok. I'm on Orange UK network. All seems ok, great rom, except I cannot recieve MMS messages any more. Could receive on original Samsung ROM. Tried sending correct settings from Samsung website to my handset but it doesn't have any effect. The MMS text comes through, with a message "You have received a multimedia message notification from xxxx. Click Download to download the message. Message size 11KB". Clicking on the download button activates a 3G connection, then after a short time, I get "Could not download the message". Been sent different MMS's from different networks, different phone, different size photo etc but cannot retrieve any ! Also tried selected a different operator, then changing back to orange, no change. Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution. Normally the 1st boot after flashing i will get to a 3G setting request. Which will connects to 3G (with cost and charges applies) and get the settings from my operator. After that MMS will works fine :D

Open "Messaging" Tap the menu there and scroll all the way down to "MMS options" Select the tab "Profile". If my guess is correct, there's no Profile configured- the only thing you probably see in there is "New profile..." So now you have to configure your MMS profile yourself. It's not too hard, only thing is that every operator has his own set of IP addresses and ports. You have to get that information either from your provider's tech support, or just try and google it (that's what I did). another option could be that you flash back to a ROM version in which the mms configurated itself automaticaly, write down all the value fields there, and re-enter them after you flash to the new ROM again. Hope that helps.

Guest George_red_storm Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 What is the difference between 23081 and 23502?
Guest leap_ahead Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 (edited) What is the difference between 23081 and 23502? the dieffernce is for Com.. Com 5 23502 = Now starter to build Changes in Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 23502 (COM5): Faster, stable and more responsive than any of the previously leaked COM3 and COM4 Builds.Bottom taskbar color is changed to Vista-like dark blue. Some GUI fixes for Volume Control.Graphically enhanced Scrollbars and checkboxes.Graphically enhanced buttons throughout the operating system.New and improved Contacts app which was first seen in Build 23412 (COM3 Branch).Kinetic flow (ala iPhone) at the start and end of any list view like in Contacts and File Explorer has been removed which is kind of a step down in my honest opinion.
