Hi Kuanchai,

Thank you for this great ROM. I really love it ! I tried to hard reset ( main memory / my storage ) and reset the region. But unfortunately Chinese character can still not be shown. Could you please advise me what I can do to make Chinese charater work ?

Did you installed the Chinese fonts? I can see Chinese charaters without problem (traditional chinese for me)

last option... hard- reset your phone.... this happens to me 1 time.. but after hard reset.. it came back to normal... trying to suggest here based on my experience... others may have different solution for this...

I also had the same problem, resolved by select "StarHub" and then change the APN setting!

Oh.. i think what the StarHub you are talking about is the "Operator Settings"? Actually, my phone is i908 not i900, and unfortuntely, the "Operator Settings" option is empty.. no matter StarHub or others also can't be found..

I think it depends on your sim card as I tried on both i900 and i908....which operator are you using? Have you tried the "restore network setting"? or if you have another sim card (like 3 or CSL), plug it in and let it configurate the network settings for you and then change back to your own sim, which it detect your card..click "no" for the automatic setting.

Help! could any one help me with changing the Language to English

because in some parts of the Phone it will show these weird signs like:

they even show up when i go to google.com? the default language automatically changes to those signs?

Go to Settings/System/Regional Settings and there are several English language countries to choose from. Let us know if this works for you.

after putting back the 3 sim card, it auto set the connect with the name "My proxy settings" with ADN = mobile.three.com.hk

however, its just the same as before.. connection can't be made..

may you know the solution..?

Same challenge while this rom is faster than 21195 think it has more bugs...also was freezing with a big black panel that covers most of screen about 3 times over two days so hard reset. sms was freezing as well but think that was caused after pimpc backup which has not done after hard reset ... understand these are beta's and hope the next update is better than this as thinking of going back to 21195 even though no alert on that also it was more stable .... but keep up the good work guys apprieciate all your efforts

Thanks a lot for this great ROM. However, I have a little problem. when using the new 6.5 lock screen, and when my phone receive a call, I get Unknow caller and Unknown number. When I answer the phone, I can see the name and the number:(

this happened to me many times.

Has anyone gotten S2U2 to work with these roms? I have the problem that when i push my lock button, ut goes to the m2d lock screen but when the phone qutomatically locks it goes to the S2U2 lock. I gues my question is how do you interlace S2U2 to work seamlessley with the rom? Thanks

excellent ROM (Build 21198 M2D FULL), just a small issue I have found though which drove me nuts (decided to reflash just to pinpoint that it wasn't a hardware fault) - the power button to turn off the backlight does not work when you set the i900 to "MASS STORAGE" under Connections/USB Connection Mode. However, when left as ActiveSync it is fine.

Not sure if it has been mentioned though (haven't flicked thru 40+ pages).

Other than that, really happy how Build 21198 M2D FULL has drastically changed the functionality in this phone to a positive experience.

When is the "Time bomb" enabled? I mean by the time (September '09?) "Time bomb" is present we will flash to a newer build. :(

Hi m8, what i done was set the lock to windows classic by going to Start, settings, lock then display and then set S2U2 the way you want it but did have to leave slide to answer off as you can't answer the call. That seems to work fine for me.

ok i have found the link of removed timebomb from 21195

ok i think i found the offset for timebomb and replaced it.

I hope you take your time to optimize the files before release it, delete redundant/not working application and application folder to get more space.

2. UC (very annoying, people have more than 3 apps to be installed instead of the initial 3, manually write in the xml file list of cab need to be autoinstalled is hassle cause we still manually install app. Redundant work)

3. Rotation Service (annoying especially when it display "loading" when want to turn to landscape. it doesnt work properly too in certain app.

4. HTC task manager + SDKCert (overlapped with battery) can install later

5. Whitebattery (nice app but can be cabbed)

Tools To be removed (redundant with settings)

1. BTAudioT..

2. CircleBT

3. Bluetooth

4. GPS_XTRA

5. GSfinder

6. PHM Registry editor

7. Registry Editor (either one Im using SKtool way better)

8. Poweroff

9. Reset

10. USBHDD
