Dear all,

I ran into an issue after flashing the 3-in-1 21202....

I cannot get through the "align screen" no matter what i do...

I tried pressuring very light..on each cross hair, but no luck this time..

Noted that this happened to me once on my last flash to 21193...but i managed to get through somehow with the light pressure on the screen....

But today..i have no luck...have been trying for the past hours already...

Anybody...help please?

im not in a position to help you.but they need full details like history of your phone like:when did uou bought it.what are the application installed before flashing latest roms..did it fell down..how many times..did you charge your phone on the prescribe duration..stuff like this might be usefull assessing your problem.not unless this is simply the outcome of flashing beta roms or something...this is my dilemna as well..sometimes s*** happens. specially in my country it cost me 600 dollars to buy an omnia coz its an openline..huhu.i hope this wouldnt happen to me as well..well flashing rom is like indiana jones..full of adventure..

dam n. this is wierd..given that you only did such modification with your phone.it shouldnt be dead like that.i guess your unit has a defect..well try to flash it with the original firmware from samsung..and if problem still persist.contact or bring your unit to samsung center.. B) btw' downgrading your firmware to original is not that straight forward..you need to get firmware that you can flash and edit the pda version using regedit..thereby you can flash it with the original rom downloadable in samsung site..i hope you can flash atleast 1 rom of your choice..try to google it to get this rom or firmware you can use to flash original rom..im using my omnia so i cant give you the link on that..besides my boss might caught me doing stuff like that..heehee..goodluck my friend..

Try this:

1. Take off battery for a while and insert back.

2. Press and hold power button for >5 seconds.

Tell us what happens. If it shows Omnia logo then that's a good sign.

Just flashed the clean (non M2D) version. Have following problems:

1. All today screen plug-ins disappeared - e.g. SPB Mobile Shell, SPB Pocket Plus, Phone Alarm, SPB Phone Suite, Face Contacts etc. Today screen just became a blank black screen.

2. Communication Manager missing

3. Omnia became very unstable

4. Still discovering other things.

Has anyone gotten S2U2 to work with these roms? I have the problem that when i push my lock button, ut goes to the m2d lock screen but when the phone qutomatically locks it goes to the S2U2 lock. I gues my question is how do you interlace S2U2 to work seamlessley with the rom? Thanks

Have you tried turning off the windows lock?

Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Buttons -> Wake up : Untick when device is woken up, lock device.

Hello,

Couple of quick things,

Just updated to your new ROM, went to change my 'buttons' settings and i could find task manager or task switcher, how do i get these back?

Also, when i load opera, if i load up google, i cant type anything into the search box using the samsung inputs. I can enter addresses into opera and into its search bar, but not into google, how do i fix that?

Last thing, on your last ROM there was the samsung sound changer, this is also gone, back to windows default, can i get it back?

Other than that, this ROM runs much faster on my omnia, the menus and touchflo scroll smoothly, which is great!

This new customized ROM was made for my personal use but you may find it useful for your daily use. My intention is to make a Fast, Stable, Small footprint but workable ROM.

Specifications:

1. Ported from ROM build 21189 aku 5.0.0 by Mrtoto's NB0 Kitchen Tool.

2. Use OEM from i900DXIA5 ROM.

3. Replace with NetCF 3.5

4. HTC Adobe Flash player

5. Opera 9 build 15954

6. WM6 VoIP full (lubo777 wrote a great tutorial for VoIP use here: http://www.modaco.com/content-page/285140/...read/page/460/ at post#463)

7. Thai enble but (hope) to support all languages (Thanks vivi for his oem)

9. 3 today GUIs: default=Titanium, second=normal WM6.1 today, third=TouchFlo2D

Note: BT fix is to make your omnia be able to make a voice dialing using mono BT headset. However, with the current methods of solving this omnia problem, your phone will have a minor bug that you cannot set it to lock on waken up.

1. M2D in these 3 ROM's is Lite version. Full version may come later if I have time.

2. In M2D message tab, "new message" icon and menu don't work. Please go to Inbox (All message) and choose New message from there.

1. RotationService: This ROM has RotationService build-in to disable autorotation for M2D and coreplayer. It will autorotate all programs listed in /program files/rotationservice/rotationservice.xml. If you want any program to have autorotation, just add program name to the enable autorotation section in this file. Modify this file by notepad on your PC desktop preferred.

2. Complete autorotation: uninstall the rotationservice program (setting>system>remove programs select QBUS rotation service and remove) and soft reset. You may have to enable autorotation in setting>system>motion sensor.

3. Enable Samsung dialpad and Video call: Use Tools\FavoriteHackings to enable Dialer skin and soft reset your phone.

4. Enable R2SV bluetooth stereo headset: edit the following registry and soft reset. (Thanks to chokia)

9. Enable wake up by front/any button: This ROM was set by default to wakeup by power button only. Go to settings>Personal>Buttons>Wake up and select what you want.

10. Cannot connect to internet: Go to Settings>Connections>Operator settings, Set a different operator than yours wait for 30 secs and then re-enable your default one.

11. Choose WM 6.5 or Classic ScreenLock: Go to Settings>Lock and "Display" Tab. Select "Windows Default" for WM 6.5 styled screenlock or "Windows Classic" for WM 6.1 styled screenlock.

13. Unknown Caller ID bug: There is a bug when you lock the screen and press power off button. It will show unknown caller ID on incoming call. If you really need to see correct caller ID on lockscreen, you have to set your phone to "Lock on waken up". (Settings>Personal>Buttons>Wake up). Press power off or leave your phone to sleep by itself and you will get correct caller ID on incoming calls. Do not lock the screen before power off.

thanks to frizprezz's guide on how to customiz Titanium today........ however, i've found a way to do that(from other forum)without installing the buggy weather panel.

here is how........ a bit long, but works perfect on my phone. (21198 3 in 1)

1. install CHome Config Cab

2. open up a registry editor(i use SKTool)

3. fowllow the screen shots below:

4. u'll notice that in the screenshots, there r 3 different XML registries. they r the things u need to edit, all u need to do is just add CLinks at same spot in all 3 strings. for example, i added CLink just b4 the CClock, dont forget add " ; " to seperate each names. then softreset........now step one is finished.

5. disable the Titanium today, open up CHome Config from ur device, find CLinks and tap show on the bottom right soft key, then highlight it from the list, then menu>panel>customize. then menu>page>new>click yes>menu again>template>application launcher>select whatever program u want to add>ok, u can add as much as u want, i added 14 of them. when u finished, tap done, then exit, it'll ask u to save the change, at this point u dont have to reset ur phone. check ur titanium today and play with it. let me know if u have any further Qs.

Edit: the pic r bit out of order, sorry about that. but i think u guys will figure it out if u tweak ur phoe a lot in the past B)
