js3339: Could it be ROM's issue? Im still using the default one which i got from the HP. I believe its DXHK. Only got the phone 2 weeks ago.

Edit: Just to make sure i didnt misunderstood you.

Propably not a rom issue, yours is quite recent too.

But the problem is that you have subfolders under 'My Ringtones'. So you should put those mp3 files you are going to use as ringtone directly to 'My Ringtones' folder.

Hi Adrynalyne,

just off topic here,,, i saw that u are active on another ppc forum as well in the section of graphic modification, and it good to see that u are also active here, hope u can bring a lot of contributions here regarding graphics for the omnia.

back to the topic again, concerning the performance ot the sdcard and the drice, u can actually compare them. if u install coreplayer and copy a movie file (not too long as it will take a long time to do the test) on the my storage drive and the same file on the storage card, u can run a benchmark using coreplayer and it will tell u the performance.

Thanks B) Thats a good idea, by the way, I didn't think of using coreplayer to benchmark each.

Thanks, i got it to work by placing a random mp3 file there without the folder. Guess i cant have them classified under the singers then.

Also, i noticed the phone doesnt regconise m4a files for ringtones? I cant play that file with coreplayer, but doesnt show up under ringtone options. This m4a file which i have is copy directly from my itunes.
