Heh, thanks.

There's not really a whole lot of information out there about 6.5, so there is lots of trial and error. I've had several build stop at different phases of the boot process, none actually get to the windows screen...yet.

I wouldn't hold my breath for it just yet, one of my tests is basically a hail marry. I'm going to try to build a stock rom later when I get home. If I get get this other kitchen to work, it will be easier to make both 6.1 and 6.5 roms with the same OEM.

Well, at least yours is building. I can't get past the boot.hv errors. I would love to talk with you about 6.5 if you have the time.

In the meantime I'm learning how not to get frustrated. lol

Yeah that is part of the issue. Plus the tools seem to be a little different too. Thanks for giving and offering help though. :excl:

I have a few other things to try, and see what get's me where. I noticed that when I used xipporterex, the standard i900 kitchen didn't like it. I have some testing to do tomorrow, but I may be able to get something working (another hack-job type thing). I had a busy week, but I plan to have plenty of time tomorrow for 6.5.

well, when verizon releases their "official" rom update and microsoft brings out 6.5 may 11, there should be enough good cooked roms soon after to satisfy our needs

They are not releasing 6.5 on May 11, that was the rumor, but once that rumor got back to them, they clarified that it was just a misunderstanding, they are just doing some more showing off on May 11. The release is supposed to be sometime before the 4th quarter :excl:

I have: Windows_Live_wm6.5_v10.6.0052.0100, but haven't decided if I will lose what I've already done? Any pointers on it?

The whole system works better than the original stock, it's faster, less battery useage, internet is faster, it's louder, easier to read, and type

I cannot get back to VZW Apps for the navigator, because the phone is not recognized, oh well I'll save the $10/month and use google maps or maybe spend the $10 for a lifetime of Garmin XT for Windows or go furthur out and try the Android ROM.

Thank you all for your hard work and giving me the free phone upgrade LOL.
