Guest topbanana4 Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 we have nearly the perfect omnia , by that what i mean is !! the bluetooth problem with voice command 99% solved ,but is there any of you very clever people able to solve in internal gps to work without the software GPS Gate etc.This would be great if somebody could solve that problem. all the best

TomTom will not fix it as they are not doing anything more with version 6. Version 7 only comes preinstalled on some devices. Not for sale. So get over the challenge by getting GpsGate if you want Tomtom. I did. It's a step to load GpsGate to remember to do before loading TomTom, but it really does work. There is a very long thread on this site (and more on other sites) that discusses this in much detail. Please search for and read it and you will see there is NO solution on the Omnia for TomTom6 other than use a helper program such as GpsGate. Ron...
