the themes need to be in .zip format.

if you have .m2dc files, rename them to .zip and try as Nicklas says.. ;)

This should help you with the dialer, but I'm not sure about the clock. I'm only using the Samsung clock because prefer its alarm over the Windows alarm.

Cool! That's much better.

Thanks.

Hey guys you know with psShutXP, does the Shut Down function work for you? For me it just turns the screen off...however reset works fine.

Also sometimes when I try to shut off my phone using the power button, it just takes me to the menu screen and won't actually turn off. Has anybody else experienced this?

Thanks to Shokka and Nickslashidegard! I must've misunderstood Sector's instructions because I was unzipping the files first on to my PC.

No worries, mate! Glad at least that half of your query is fixed.

Perhaps someone else here can comment on how to enable the Samsung Clock. In order to see the clock, I think that you may need to install and enable Samsung Today 1 or 2, and disable TouchFlo or Titanium. I may be mistaken, but I do know that the either of the latter will override the Samsung clock anyway.

Ah right.

I prefer to use Touchflo than Samsung so will stick with it.

I like to use the Samsung clock for the alarms - the windows one is diabolical - an embarassment to the Omnia.

Incidentally, the alarm doesn't appear to work with this ROM. It doesn't activate OR say it's on, on the today screen.

Any ideas?

The alarm status for the Samsung clock won't appear unless you are using Today 1 or 2. Otherwise, as long as it is indeed turned on it should work for you still. I've just tested mine and it does work. Make sure that you don't have the windows alarm set. If so, then turn it off and then try setting the Samsung alarm again. In the worst case, you can always try to remove the Samsung Clock from the REMOVE PROGRAMS list, and the re-install it again.

Just tested the Samsung alarm again at it works now.

Thanks again.

if you want it bad....look in the windows directory, you should have a shortcut for tclock.exe, copy the shortcut to windows\start menu\programs.

soft reset, it will now appear as a program.

You can then re-assign it to a soft key or whatever. I dont remove it, it always there. Just hiding ;)

Enjoy

Thanks, Shokka. I believe that we've past that already, but it's good info to have anyway.

Hey Shokka! Me again!

Do you remember (perhaps not) that I told you that I was seeing this random graphic distortion on my screen from time to time? Well, I've finally got it pegged. The cause was the mouse arrow. For some reason, no matter where it was, it was causing a distortion in the shape of a small square to appear on the screen. Anyway, I hardly use it so I've disabled the arrow and everything is dandy now.

Just thought you might like to know.

Learn something new everyday. To come to think of it, I've always had it enabled in the past, but I cannot recall ever using it but having it always tucked away on the very bottom of the screen. ;)

I know Opera was removed from this ROM. I wanted it back, downlowded, installed and now I have it. My question was how to set it up as default browser in M2DC so instead of launching it from programs I could do that fom Manilla browser tab?

A couple more issues noticed but not sure if they are specifically this ROM related:

1) The call log only shows the time of call, not the date

2) The onscreen button for answering a call appears to activate when pressed but doesn't answer the call and/or sometimes the answer button doesn't work either

Any ideas?

I already answer this kind of question

Just install opera and make the path in M2D settings

Anyone.

I have searched and results come up in threads with 300+ posts etc which will take a lot of reading through.
